The ref should have applied the rules of the game consistently. If Dier’s handball was a penalty then he should have also penalised the Newcastle player
According to some Geordie foghorn, we can't criticise three bad decisions in a row leading to their penalty because the big bad FA rejected their takeover You know, the takeover where the consortium pulled their bid and stomped home with their ball under their arm We're getting a whole season of this, aren't we?
I forget who said it the other day, but does anyone believe refs would be making these farcical calls if there were tens of thousands of people surrounding the pitch? It's the blatant cowardice that galls the most, as they're hiding behind a rule they don't understand and don't have to explain how they don't understand the rule they're misinterpreting yet we're supposed to accept it and move on...you know, like the Tories tell us to do every time their corruption is exposed and nothing is done about it I give it a month before somebody chins a ref
Nope. I am still enraged at the actions of the SQUAD. Specifically the : 1. bad shots on target in the 1st half that meant the VAR decision had an effect on the end result (unlike the previous game) 2. fact that players such as Alli have not performed to the levels required, which IMHO due to reduced squad rotation has made Sons' alleged hamstring injury far more of a < standard > than it could have been.
Sorry, but in the age of VAR I suggest attacking teams strive to have at least a two goal lead by the time when the 90 min mark is reached, Spurs have been taught the lesson in two successive games. It remains to be seen whether they have learnt the teachings ...
Why isn't it a penalty at 4 seconds when Darlow saves it and it hits Fernandes on the arm? It's raised. **** rules should be applied evenly. They can't even do that.
it’s a lesson we have not learned for years...I recall the same issues under Poch No one is scoring every chance but 24 shots, 20 on target with 1 yielding a goal is something our strikers need to reflect on if improvement is the aim.
why didnt the players go mental over it and surround the ref? Then again there are so many silly rule changes...I can’t keep up. something doesn’t count because it happened in phase fackin 8 about 6 minutes ago or whatever...sick of it
As someone who does serious data science as part of the day job, I would be very interested to see what "measure data" / metrics the club is gathering/producing on this aspect, and whether they are "never mind the quality, feel the thickness" rather than "actionable" .
It’s absurd to suggest Kane can’t improve...no one is wanting him sold. He trains everyday so that he improves...everything suggests that there is a level or two more Kane can reach it depends how one approach’s the game you thrive off the fact that we had 24 shots at goal...I’m thinking 24 shots...only 1 goal...now that’s an area we can improve on
Classic "never mind the quality, feel the thickness" mindset. "I’m thinking 24 shots...only 1 goal...now that’s an area we can improve on" Looking for the "actionable" measures. < data science >
I am talking about the context you chose to bring this up in. We are denied a victory because of an appalling ref. decision and you chose to blame our team for not scoring enough. Come on!
