I thought I was nervous before the NLD but I actually feel sick waiting to meet my teen beast for the game.
Will be even worse on Sunday cos there is no way that we will get more points than Chelsea tonight so it will be a last day full of prayers and hopes...and we know how well last day results go for us when we need them to <yikes>

I don't see Newcastle being more of a threat than WBA over the weekend.

What I do expect is for us to make a meal of it, plenty ball, dithering around their GK area, attackers with a head down mentality.

Sometimes the players need to lift the fans.

Score early win comfortably!

Back home again after another 23 days in hospital where my health was not helped by our recent form! Last match I saw was the Chelsea match so hoping my return home will bring a change in our fortunes again. I love my football and my team but the perspective given my recent health scares means that 3rd, 4th, or 5th we will have had a great season.

I have won my fight with prostate cancer now and I encourage all the other men out there my age (50ish) to get themselves tested a simple blood test to check your PSA is all you need to have - Come On You Spurs

Not really sure how inspiring Wanyama and Sissoko are going to be centrally from the start. Would have like to have seen us start Alli or Eriksen deeper, and another attacker brought into the mix. Then revert to Sissoko and Wanyama later in the game. Hey ho.

Fingers crossed Kane turns up tonight.

I'm guessing that the inclusion of Sissoko is to make the Newcastle players and benitez piss themselves with laughter for so long (seeing as we paid them 30 mio) that they'll be 6-0 down before they even realise what's going on.

No Lucas and both Wanyama and Sissoko!! No lessons learned from the weekend..... <doh>

COYS!! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! :emoticon-0148-yes:

A 4-3-3 with Eriksen and Dele either side of big Wan and Kane flanked by Lucas and Son would have been a very exciting line up but then we would have nothing of note attacking wise coming off the bench. Lamela and Llorente is pretty feeble.

I just hope if we are chasing a goal after 60 minutes Poch dosent leave it lastminute.com like he normally does.

Still, Newcastle are there for the taking today and this line up even with Sissoko in it is good enough to win comfortably this evening.......As long as our players fancy it, that is..........

It would be quite fitting for Sissoko to get his first goal for the club tonight against his old team, at a time where we really need him to step up and justify the £30m. Footballs a funny old game.

But my RCL head tells me that he’ll strike one over the bar into row T, and the other will go out for a throw. <laugh>

Well, if on the basis of his last effort against Watford when under no pressure whatsoever, then you’re probably spot on <laugh>

Personally, in many other scenarios I would actually be comforted by his inclusion...... in other scenarios......

I am diagonally opposite the toon fans in the top row...got me keeper gloves on in case in case the FFS twin who is starting takes a shot :bandit:
