Perhaps an Orange card is needed which would be like a yellow but have 10 minutes in a sin-bin as well for going for the ball and winning it but in a dangerous manner.

Gaelic Football introduced a black card a few years ago to punish cynical foul play.
It results in a forced substitution or just a straight red, if you've already used your subs.
It's an interesting idea for dealing with situations when neither a yellow or a red seems an exact fit.

Just had a look and it doesn't look like it's that unusual, though.
Didn't realise that the threads got that much traffic.

 

Actually I think the 300+ posts is the impressive thing. Compared to Arsenal board (100 - and I just boosted that with a bit of good old fashioned pedantry) and Chelsea (50+). We get a good old discussion going on here and for those like me that are too nervous to use streams (every time I try I seem to get infested with unwanted apps) it is great to get a feel for how the game is going. Even if I'm not online for the game, I love reading them in retrospect. Especially when I know a goal is coming - usually just after RCL says one is almost impossible the way we are playing. Can feel the tension many times.

 

It's almost as if the Chav and Goon boards are infested with posters who make up for having nothing of value to post by being obnoxious cuSKELETON WARRIORS

 

Number of distinct posters/viewers would be an interesting
measure to have. On the latter, I suspect there are plenty WUM
wannabees who are lurking waiting for something on-pitch to
occur to have their moment to attempt to post something here or
comment elsewhere about what is written here.
