Really outstanding display by everyone, and well done Pards as well because he made the perfect subs at the right times.

Krul back to form is a much needed plus, and Mbwia was pretty epic at times today, though it feels harsh to single anyone out. So we know our problem lads, we only have ONE set of tactics which works against teams that expect to beat us, we haven't got one for when we have the better players. When we have more possession, we have no clue whatsoever, and hope Ben Arfa does the business. Sort it Pards and we'll be on for a decent season.

Get in!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brilliant effort by the lads. Fantastic response to derby defeat. Spurs, Chelsea wins and good performance against Citeh. Our start to the season has now officially been good. Obviously the Hull and Blunderland games were points dropped, but its not a perfect world.

Right then Citeh, howay stuff the mackems to make it another crackerjack weekend.

First, great result and good team effort.

Pardew got his tactics right from the start. First half we where decent.

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS AT HALF TIME TEAM TALKS

Because we always seem to be like chalk and cheese in both halfs.

Cisse is offside more than any player I have seen.

    Tiote was immense.

Krul was awful.....LY ****ING AMAZING. EASILY MOTB.

    Santon needs dropped for Dummett.

    Debuchy another solid performance.

    Cabaye went missing at times.

Le Gouf played well. I still maintain hes a class player. He works his bollocks off every game. Has a good first touch and can score. He created our goal.

    Sissoko was good to.

THAT TACKLE ON SISSOKO - Why was it not a red card, it was dangerous, late, studs showing, both feet off the ground and he didnt get any of the ball. If it was Tiote he would have been red carded.

Nowt to do with half time talks, just the nature of the PL. You'll never have it your own way for 90mins. They came out hungry 2nd half, which makes our 2nd half display all the more creditable. MYM, Krul, Willo were never say die today. The Gouf's form must be making HBA ponder his team effort.

To be honest mate, I see no difference between Dawson's tackle and the one Cattermole did last week. If the latter is a "red according to modern rules", Dawson should have walked too. I think it's a bit of a weak game where a challenge like that gets more than a yellow personally, but rules are rules...

Dawson should have gone, that challenge was a leg breaker. The ref and linesmen gave us **** all today but **** them. We won.

Outstanding performance, the save from Krul with Mbiwa's clearance off the line was unbelievable! Obertan's cameo had me pulling my hair out though!

Hardly surprising though is it. I could see Foys Spurs shirt sticking out under his ref shirt. Disgrace from him today. The pressure we were under was amplified because we weren't getting cast iron free kicks to slow the pace. That tackle from Dawson was wild.

People change their minds to quickly I look at the long term picture.

I just realised Quinn is doing the city v Sunderland game on sky
Would be a shame if they got battered
Lol ( I think that result might surprise
    Us)

Both him and Haidara are I think. Hammys take a few weeks. Other options are Colo, MYM or Anita. I reckon Anita might be the best of that bunch as we want to be positive. Colo at full back could be good though. Played there a lot for Milan and Deportivo. He can do all the functions you require of a full back such is his class. Debuchy will be a miss after recent form though.
