Sunday 9th January 2pm
FA Cup 3rd Round
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Premier League sides have apparently been told that they have to fulfil their FA Cup games this weekend.
That will result in a number of weakened teams and youth players being used.
Not sure if that will influence us in any way, but I'd have thought that heavy rotation would be on the menu.
Romero and Bergwijn will miss out again, but Sessegnon may return. No idea about Dier.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Royal, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Moura, Kane, Son.
Subs: Gollini, Doherty, Rodon, Tanganga, Winks, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Alli, Gil.
League form: WWDWDW.

Morecambe: Letheren; McLaughlin, O'Connor, Gibson, Leigh; McCalmont, Diagouraga, McLoughlin; Ayunga, Stockton, Gnahoua.
Subs: Andresson, Cooney, Delaney, Jones, Wildig, Nicholson, Obika.
League form: LLLDLW.

Ref: John Brooks. VAR: Michael Salisbury.

TV: Not televised, which is **** for Morecambe. No idea why it's on Sunday, either.

How would you like to line up for this one?

Reactions: Tilly'sowner
Gil and Lo Celso to start

The former to give him a chance to show what he can do (and, by complete coincidence, give Sonny a match off for once), the latter to get some minutes into his legs...but not too many, as there's an international break this month, so maybe let Argentina injure somebody else's players for once

It’s a tricky one to theorise. I want to see Gil start but think we might use 352 as we’re short on forwards. I’d like to see Tanganga and Højbjerg start so the other options are fresh for Chelsea. Sonny definitely needs to start on the bench, he looks knackered and a week off might do him some good. Ultimately I’d like to try and rest Kane too but without Bergwijn and with Sonny knackered I worry about cutting edge and who would actually play 9. Maybe:

Gollini
Sanchez Rodon Tanganga
Doherty Højbjerg GLC Sess
Alli Lucas Gil

With a strong bench. The only ones of those who might start the home leg against Chelsea are Lucas, Sanchez and Sess (if Regulion isn’t ready).

Never thought I would say this but we need to put out a strong side Sunday after the cluster f**k we made of the ECL , this will be Morcombe 's cup final and rightly we need to respect them

I think we’ll see practically a fully rotated XI for this.

Gollini
Sanchez, Rodon, Tanganga
Doherty, Winks, Ndombele, Sess*
Lo Celso, Scarlett, Gil

*if not fit, Reguilon or White.

Just noticed Jon Obika and Shayon Harrison currently play for Morecambe, I'm not going on Sunday as I couldn't be arsed to spend extra dough after Christmas but it'll be good to see them back. Hopefully they get a decent reception.

Morecambe are one of the smallest league clubs. Punching well above their weight in League One.
This pay day is massive for them

"Dele is one of the players who on Sunday will play. For sure it's a good opportunity." - Conte.

To be or not to be. To try or not to try. That is the question. COYS. Then knock the crap out of Chelsea!
