Anyone enjoy anything other than the last 5 seconds of that. Hard work, but credit where its due they fought hard in that 2nd half.
I totally agree...and don't get it...the football at times last season was a joy to watch but the last month or so has seen some dour football.
tbh I have always found European tournaments frustrating. You have referees who interperet the game differently, you have cynical fouls that are not punished. This goes all the way back to the 60's Greaves Spurs were kicked off the park. I am not saying Marseille were bad compared to some but we gave them much more respect than they deserved IMO.
I hate Barcelona with a passion cos in 1982 they came to WHL in the semi final of the European Cup Winners Cup and were allowed to kick us off the park ... was an absolute disgrace
Oh, Lloris had an excellent game too. A couple of vital saves in the first half and bossed the penalty area.
Lloris interviewed... "We didn't play well during the first half. Maybe we didn't know what would happen if we attack. It wasn't good for us to play this type of first half." But it's every fecking game, Hugo!
Guendouzi really isn’t very good, is he? Not hard to see why we let him go. I never understood why Arsenal fans rated him so highly. What does he excel at? I still don’t know. The less said about Kolasinac and Tavares, the better… I can’t believe I had to watch these bozos at my club for so long. They’re Marseille’s problem now.
