MP is learning. For a couple of years, he mourned what Sissoko and Llorente weren't. Now he's getting out of them what they are. He'll be a better manager for it.
I've never doubted Levy's accountancy skills but he needs to spend a bit more on the goods on the pitch sometimes or he's in the wrong game.
Everyone wants that, but there is no recipe for getting that as a result. We are about 8-1 to win any of the domestic trophies at the start of the season and 20-1 at best to win the CL which means the most likely outcome is that we don't win any. When Levy started the numbers were more like 30-1 and the CL was irrelevant. When Poch started the numbers were about 12-1 and 100-1.
They did a West Brom. Started timewasting right from the off and were never pulled on it. Can we buy Mike Dean a nice new car or an expensive watch or something? Just do anything to disqualify him from our games. He's ****. Telling Real Madrid how good De Gea is would be nice, too.
After reading all your comments,I would like to ask this...….isn't there a Spurs fan who owns oilwells,a gold mine or two...…….?
Is it? We've got three goal keepers, 5 full backs, four centre halfs, 5 central midfield players, 5 attacking midfield players and two strikers. Plus Nkoudou, Skipp Janssen, Carter Vickers, Amos. The only area there could be any criticism about is CM where we might have predicted injuries for Dembele and Wanyama but we had Amos and Skipp to cover that.
One thing that I forgot to ask and I hope that I'm wrong about. Did Man Utd fans cheer when Sissoko went down injured? If so, then what's that about?
They did indeed...no idea why though. Tbh I just thought it was the usual ****tyness that seems to be pretty mainstream at matches now from a lot of fans. Seems to be coming back
I’m spoilt because I want to see Spurs win trophies as well as finish in the top 4? I’m a fan, I don’t care about cheese rooms or craft ale, I want to see us win trophies and be champions instead of constantly losing our best players to bigger sides.
The human race is on its cycle of de-evolution... They tell us that We lost our tails Evolving up From little snails I say it's all Just wind in sails Are we not men? We are Devo Are we not men? D-E-V-O We're pinheads now We are not whole We're pinheads all Jocko Homo Are we not men? We are Devo Are we not men? D-E-V-O Are we not pins? We are Devo Monkey men all In business suits Teachers and critics All dance the poot Are we not men? We are Devo! Are we not men? D-E-V-O Are we not pins? We are Devo Are we not men? Because the football gods really are a load of ****y bollocks, we can add this to the list of reasons yesterday was as depressing as it was frustrating
I don't think that you're spoiled for wanting that, but that's kind of the point of the cheese rooms and craft ale, isn't it? We lose our best players to richer sides and we're trying to do something to address that. It's not worth risking overextending the club's resources and doing a Leeds or even pushing our limits and having Arsenal's situation. I've no idea how they've ended up skint, to be honest, but it shows how a few mistakes can do years of damage.
Everyone wants that. With Levy and Pochettino at the helm we are much closer to that than we've been for 20 years. The point about the cheese and ale is that the club benefits from fans buying it from them rather than elsewhere so it goes towards more money and better players. We missed the boat on the magic money tree that benefited Chelsea and City and we've always been behind Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal in global fan base and therefore commercial income. The new stadium addresses all the issues that have been holding us back. There is not much else we can do....at least until the new stadium is open when we could get a capital injection to refinance the loans and release some extra money for players.
Anyone got a clip of this? please log in to view this image There's a row about it and I haven't seen a replay. Looked a red from where I was and in that photo.
Apparently Graeme Souness on Sky, said it was 100% a red card, that Pogba knew exactly what he was doing and if Mike Dean didn’t think it was a red, then he knows nothing about football.
Yeah, I read that. People have criticised Souness for making similar tackles, but he makes that point himself. Something tells me that if the result and participants in that incident had been swapped, then I don't think I'd have trouble finding a clip of it.
