The reality of our situation at the moment is that while we have been thrashing relegation fodder in order to achieve the results we have of late, these were the very teams that we were losing to or struggling to find a late goal to draw level with under JM. Personally I would take a well-fought loss where there are clear improvements in the style of our play but having said that I fancy a draw. Our defence is still our big weakness and the Spuds have a very strong attack so I don't see how Ole has any option but to hold back on some of our attacking flair in order to contain the spuds attacking threat - we can't fly forward every game.
Hopefully! I can't get out of the mind set that we should turn Spurs over, it'll be a long time, if ever, that I do. They're decent though and rightly challenging for the title so I think a draw would be a good result for us. Got to push for the win though, Chelsea and Arsenal have more winnable games this weekend. Even though beating them helps you lot out!! And City.
At least we know what we have to do tomorrow to climb up the table. Beat Spurs 4-0 and we will be on our way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Exactly, plus next weekend we play Brighton while Arsenal take on Chelsea - could be an important couple of weekends. Get these next two games right and we could make 4th - and that's before Chelsea play Newcastle tonight.
I'm the same but I think it might be a little early yet. In the PL we've played them 53 times - W33 D11 L8, so in those terms you're right, let's hope Ole is named on the subs bench today.
