Moss is a very poor referee. They showed 3 mins of added time. During those three minutes the crowd kept hold of the ball and Man U made a substitution. He added zero seconds for that. That is incompetent beyond words.

Listening to the post match chat with Souness and Rednapp is so infuriating.

All they keep on going on about is our form away from home against the top four. What they are forgetting to mention is that United, Chelsea, City, Arsenal all lost to us on their travels last season. Only Liverpool had a good record against the top six last season and they just made top four on the last day.

Didnt we just go to Real Madrid in the champions league and get a deserved draw?

We deserved a draw today, Dele missed a real chance but Martial took his.

To cap it off yet again we had that idiotic scratched record Souness saying that big teams will be coming in for Kane soon.
Levy wont sell Kane when we have a new stadium to open and not many teams could afford him.

They're 2 plastic Mousers that Sky can say are ex-Spurs. Neither gives a **** about us but we're stuck with the feckers. Could we not have 'Arry or someone?

Absolutely, was going to say the same thing. Not saying we would have scored but the ref still has a duty to follow the rules!

Thought young Harry Winks was excellent again.

He plays with such maturity and confidence, big games away at Real Madrid and Manchester United just dosent phase the kid. He never hides, always wants the ball even if he is under pressure from his opponent. He has a big pass in his locker and i think he will see a lot more adventure in his game soon.

Its quite amazing to think that he is one of the first names on the team sheet now.

Only saw the 2nd half, but that is the poorest performance
I have seen from a near-strongest starting XI for a long time.

Every 50:50 challenge, whether one or more Spurs players
in the mix, and the ball was not won. Again more of the slow
    sideways passing.

Aurier and Sissoko offered little in attack, and WTF play Son
there when we all know he cannot lead the line.

This was not a great Man Utd attack, so I feel the opportunity
to take some points from this fixture has been missed.

There were a number of games over the past two seasons where the goals dried up when Kane was out.
You're far from a one man team, but are obviously a lot easier to contain without Kane.
Mourinho wants points from these games. He's a pragmatist; the first priority was to close down Spurs. Playing an expansive game can be costly if the opposition can be take advantage of that. Ask Arsenal fans. Arsenal's record v the top sides has been abysmal since Wenger considered top defenders and a holding midfielder to be of secondary importance.
8 clean sheets in 10 PL might not be a very exciting stat, but it's damn good platform for challenging at the top end of the league.

I have to say I've caught myself by surprise when my immediate reaction to the game was DON'T PANIC.

We have lost 2 games this season, both to teams we lost to last season, both by the exact same scorelines as last season, and one of them (today) we had numerous key players out injured at worst, on the bench at best.

The enduring problem does remain that spark in the final third - which we have seen on numerous occasions this season we find tricky even with Kane on the field - when up against well-organised packed defenses. To that end, I am rapidly warming to the idea of bringing Barkley in come January. With Dele having a very disappointing season, Sissoko trying hard but still will never be anything more than the kid with no hands or feet in my bike analogy, GKN frankly the biggest waster of time and money since David Bentley and no guarantee whatsoever that after 14 months out Lamela will be able to rediscover his pre-injury form, all in all we are somewhat short of options up there.

November is going to be a crucial month for us. We face 3 parked buses (Palace, WBA & Leicester) and the NLD at the Library. Plus the opportunity to qualify - perhaps top - from our CL group for the first time under Poch.

Worst case scenario (we'll call it 'RCL')? We draw 3, lose to Arsenal, collapse in the CL and go into the final game with Dortmund able to catch us.

Best case? Win all 4 and progress in the CL. That would set us up superbly for the winter schedule.

On the one hand it's a good thing that we have a squad who want to play, rather than get paid a six-figure sum for sitting on their backsides rather than playing. On the other hand, that's the point: they want to play, rather than get fat off a six-figure salary, so we have to get the balance right - and all it takes is a couple of injuries at the worst possible time and the balance could very easily go out the window.

Seems to me that the tv pundits need to read the suggestions on NOT 606 and learn something!

    I am very very depressed.

Will I ever see us win the PL?

We regularly fail or have bad luck at crucial times. Today it was our solid defense letting us down. Against Chelsea it was our solid goalkeeper.
Last season we lost the title against a team who didn't have CL football, had very few injuries and had a great run of games finishing with a top number of points. We had enough points that in another season could have seen us finish first. But alas...
The season before that was a fluke season I prefer not to even think about.

This season we are up against teams who spend absolute millions for players who sit on the bench.

At this rate , it will never happen again for us.

For the first time this season I've woken up sad next day especially as we could have won it. I think we've hit a blip and nothing more and will be back to winning ways soon.

Seems to me that we'll have to bring another striker up through the ranks because those we've bought aren't producing i.e. Soldado, Janssen and now Llorente.

Don't post all that much but the last comment from DGC got me thinking.
Did anyone notice that Eriksen is no longer taking corners (Davies took the ones from the left) NSS!. However the point I'm trying to make is that we have the right players in the middle but our wingers/wing backs can't cross a ball without hitting the first defender or they cut inside too much. What the hell to they do at training surely Poch must realise this is a major problem.

His post-match interview was telling, in that he said that
both teams had fear of losing the game, and he also
didn't do <standard> Jose and rubbish any aspect of
    the Spurs team selection/play.

A sign of progression if the mantra has changed from
"It's only Spurs" to 'Damn, it's Spurs' .

Frustrating game, even more frustrating result but we've got a chance to bring some joy back if we beat Real on Wednesday. That's the beauty of being in the Champions League.

You can talk about trophies if you want but they're great moments to have in a season and I'd rather have a great season, than a moment. We've had 2 great seasons already and we're not in bad shape for another one.
