To be honest he did the same last season losing Rooney at a corner.

We absolutely hammered them in that game and I was genuinely surprised that Fergie criticised the officials after. I've just seen the interview this morning and after all the cynical fouling and pulling that the ref let United players continue with he really should have just shut the Hell up.

2. Absolutely!! That one incident apart (arguably) - Foy certainly did us no favours whatsoever. And for BF to also complain about our 'aggression' is also rich coming from the side that had 4 bookings!!!

What a game last night, how we didn't managed to win I'll never know (well... I do... De Gea decides to actually put on a good show!), we played some great football, Lennon tore Evra a new arsehole, Dembele bossed the midfiled, Dempsey was looking lively and delighted he got the goal as he was most deserving of it along side Lennon.

Went absolutely mental when Dempsey scored, was as if we'd just won a cup, WHL was nearly back to it's best last night, the librarians looked like they had a day off and the real passionate fans were out in force. Sang for 90% of match and the place erupted at the equaliser (don't think Utd like Dempsey now <laugh>). I was inches away from grabbing Benny's shirt when he lobbed it into the stand, that would've really capped off a great night. The chants of "We scored in Fergie time! We scored in Fergie time!" rang out in and outside the ground and was just a great night in general despite not getting 3 deserved points.

All in all a great performance in my opinion, to near enough completely boss the best team in the country shows just how good our lads are when they want to be.

Well done Spurs, a more than deserved point! <ok>

Just seen the criticism of Lloris(and Walker) for the goal and I agree, I just don't understand why he dived into his goal and still got nowhere near it. It's only because we have such high expectations of him by the way he's played though.

Just reading back a through posts RE Utd's goal and in my opinion, Walker and Dawson are the ones to blame. Neither of them picked up the two at the back and van Persie had a free header which, in the form he's in, was never going to miss.

The past two games Walker has been back to his early season form and I'm getting really concerned now. No doubt Naughton will be dropped soon, who, in my opinion has put in some decent performances at LB and deserves his place in the team - at Walker's expense. Benny is one of the best LB's in the legaue and it showed how vital it is to have a left footer at left back, his cross lead to the goal and now he's back (and hopefully fit) I want him starting. But Naughton doesn't deserve to be dropped in my opinion, Walker hasn't deserved his place in the team for a while and I think it'll be extremely harsh to bench Naughton while Walker is by far our weakest link in defence at present.

In Park Lane, a fella got Welbeck on the back, tried again and hit Mousa on the leg! Mousa just turned round and laughed it off.

agree completely on the marking. - Not only RVP, but whoever it was behind him as well. Had RVP not been able to reach it, they'd have had another chance.

I know it was his first few mins back in the first team, but Benny is going to have to be disciplined. Yesterday he was caught out about 3 times in 10 mins! <yikes>

Yeah I think that's probably down to lack of game time/ fitness, needing to get back into the rhythm and plus, it was against Utd so not as if it's just some two-bob club to make your League comeback in. Agree however, concentration/ discipline is something he does lack at times, still though, not many LB's out there I'd swap him for, big fan of Disco Benny.

10. Agree with the above, but it was also because he had clearly been told to push forward as we searched for the equaliser.

yeah, it was a nightmare 10 mins to be thrown into! hopefully it was a wake up call though. he was a bit far forward at times and over committed. I wouldn't either SOS, he's top 5 in the prem for me.

Until a journalist, any journalist, turns around and tells Ol' Bacon Face to shut up he's going to keep doing it.

Remind me, what qualifications do you need to be a Sky Sports interviewer? Know which way to point a microphone?

Walker & Benny are amongst the best in the PL for attacking play. Neither one is any great shakes defensively, though.

Good points this morning, on lloris, as YV points out, he wasn't even near his near! and its the second time I've seen it in as many games, those that can remember Dawsons faint contact for a corner from Wright-Philips, just aswell, as one replay showed lloris left a massive gap at his near post. Just something to keep an eye out for.

I don't think Walker is that intelligent from what I see, nice bloke, great athlete, but a bit dim, tell him what to do and he's fine, once he has to start being aware and making his own decisions thats the problem. I wonder if he even understands about angles and closing an attackers space. Before AVB's dossiers, Kyle would probably put an angle on a Christmas tree. I think you could tell him allday, and it will still go in one ear and out the other! If you're wondering where I get that from, amongst other things i found this, he was asked in an interview about Jagielka, his role model in his Sheff Utd days, and I thought we might find out why, but no, he then proceeded to waffle to the interviewer about soup! <laugh> http://metro.co.uk/2012/10/10/kyle-...-i-get-a-thrill-from-getting-him-soup-597463/ The saying a 'good player with the ball at his feet' is quite apt atm.

I was sure that I remembered the name of yesterday's linesman from somewhere and I've finally worked out where.
"I am disappointed with him - we have not had a good record with him," said Fergie.
Really? That's funny, because I seem to recall this, you old twat:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/9142575.stm
"Numerous Spurs players surrounded both the referee and his assistant Simon Beck".

‎"It’s ridiculous – he could have been killed" says Alex Ferguson, after Patrice Evra was hit with a snowball thrown by Spurs fans.

Although it sounded more like...
