"take one for the team" tackle like the Citeh MF were pulling in the WHL leg.

 

If he’s on the bench we’d have lost the game as Son wouldn’t have scored the second goal, nor would we have won the first leg. We don’t beat City without scoring goals and Eriksen is a huge provider of those thanks to his assists.

Seriously NSIS listen to what you’re saying. Bench one of the best playmakers in Europe because he doesn’t tackle? It’s like saying Vertonghen shouldn’t be in the team because he doesn’t score.

 

We were defending for our lives with minutes to go! He should have been subbed and replaced with, well anybody on the bench really, they all put in more tackles than he does!

 

I don't think we have a player that the opposition is "scared" of. The top two have a few......maybe this is the difference in winning leagues and not.I recall Leicester had a couple to watch. Meaning "hard nuts!"

 

If we had four subs then maybe but Sissoko’s sub early on hurt us. As the game went by, Lucas tired and was ineffective whilst Rose was on a yellow and had made another foul on top of that. They were probably the two most logical subs to make so I’d say Poch got that right.

He could have put Skipp on. He’s have been more effective defensively than Eriksen.

I’ve criticised Poch’s game management before many times but he got his subs right.

 

Rose could have lasted a couple more minutes. So could Moura, he wasn’t that knackered,

 

He made a challenge after his yellow that on another day could've seen him pick up a second booking, it was smart to remove him instead of risking another card and seeing him miss the next game. Moura was knackered. He was even less effective than Eriksen defensively at that point because he had no energy.

Your doing it again! Please check your facts before attributing them to me. As I said before, my comment referred to Greavsie & the likelyhood you would have wanted to sell him, nothing to do with to-days tactics whatsoever. I adore Harry Kane being a Spur & I wouldn't sell him for 10 billion. (My love for Son goes undiminished too).

How anyone compares eriksen to Hazard. Hazards a passenger compared to eriksen. Yes Hazard can dribble and is super fancy and can take a few players out (eriksen can't), but eriksens passing and his work rate is much higher than hazards.

A passenger for me is someone who you cater for in the team because they don't have the energy and/or physical presence. Eriksen does way more running and defending than hazard.
