Meeting my younger brother in a pub just after 3 pm. This isn't going to be cheap or pretty! My eldest's 18th birthday tomorrow. I am going to be wretched throughout. Heeeeeelp!
The media have been bending over backwards to explain why Citeh's failure to sell tickets isn't a bad thing. Utter bollocks! Having a club like them at the top of English football is an embarrassment. I don't expect the same fans to go to every game. Everyone has a point at which they have to admit financial exhaustion and in that, their apologists are correct. However, a club purporting to be a major world power and able to sell 30,000 tickets in the old 3rd Division, should be able to sell out their home PL and CL games in a stadium that holds 50,000. It should have enough fans to take up an FA Cup semi-final allocation, even if tickets end up on general sale. Citeh can't manage it. Citeh can't manage that because their club is an illusion. It's a ridiculously rich entity but it's just the money of the owner. There are about 10 or so clubs in this country that are bigger than Citeh, including Leeds, Villa, Newcastle and Everton. They are the 21st Century Blackburn Rovers. Remove the oil money and it's a speedy return to the backwaters of English football.
The 30,000 bit suggests that in Sugga Daddy FC times, the reality is dawning on some diehard/local supporters. Money does not buy you the pride and satisfaction you once felt when the silverware was won in days of yore.
We've kept the front row of seats empty for them ...although this may remind The Sheikh Mansour Team's players of home games
Navy blue purple, kind of Spurs away, late 80's. Largest they've ever been as well, quite surprising as they have cut a couple of bits out. I feel like a property developer, I have a couple of acres.
Just loaded the Spurs app on the phone, good isn't it. If you forget your ticket it gives you an electronic version you can use to get in. That's progress.
I remember the old version of the app, where you clicked it...and then a Chrome tab opened taking you to the club website
He loses the Paul Stewart Cup each week to a man who only posts about once a week, so do you expect otherwise ??
