City look like they're cruising in 3rd gear. Even if we somehow contrive to score ( unlikely at the moment) they look like they could easily step it up, if needs be.
Great chance at the end. City have taken their foot off the gas, should have been 2 or 3 up but Spurs have created a couple of openings. Dzeko and Adebayor are offering nothing but City's other 9 outfielders have been much better.
A fairly predictable first half, as we've lined up without any width again. Take Dempsey off at half time, put Huddlestone in the middle with Parker, push Bale and Dembele out wide and stick Sigurdsson up behind Adebayor. The Icelander and the American have been far too central and we've really pushed City whenever we've gone out wide, through Walker in particular. Mason's given us **** all, unsurprisingly. Even the commentators have noticed how long it's been since we've had a penalty at WHL. Didn't even get a free-kick for that Nasri move, either.
Disagree with you lot. We could easily score. Sure they are the better team, but then IMHO they are the best team in the country (Man U + refs may win the league, but City are the best team). We are without three first choice starters so that explains some of the problem. Add to that Nasri should have gone. You can't have a major sport like this, with £ millions at stake, where the table is decided at the whim of referees. It's a joke but nobody is prepared to do anything about it.
Think City are worthy of there lead so far one or two chances Spurs maybe should have done better with but same could be said for City class finish from Nasri for the goal tho.
Nobody mentioned it here, but KW at fault for the goal, wtf is he doing going back to defend the goal-line, if he stays with Nasri he gets a block, it gave Nasri a free hit.
Huddlestone booked for that, yet Nasri almost breaks walkers leg but gets nothing. It's been an absolute joke again today.
