Not as bad as Norwich I suppose who let in 7. Yawn. Time for a long long sleep away from this shight. Let me know when he's gone.
The usual. Mumble…. mumble… blame bad luck, the players and say City were too good. Nothing that suggests he is a clueless idiot. Levy are you watching? I think you and AVB should both walk and go out to the job centre tomorrow and sign on!
Worst Spurs performance since the turn of the century? Sadly I don't think that's an exaggeration. I await news of a fractured camp and a split dressing room, followed by rumours of Levy flying out to somewhere or other to talk to a random manager.
Well, AVB has got me feeling the sensation of the beginning of 2011-12 and the first 8 games of 2008-9 simultaneously. Which I guess is no small feat.
"I await news of a fractured camp and a split dressing room, followed by rumours of Levy flying out to somewhere or other to talk to a random manager." We're going NFL. BMJ soon to return as "offensive coach" . AVB to be announced as "head/defensive" coach. <and now a word from our sponsors>
Up until today AVB has set us up to get the points while a whole new squad has settled down. I think he made a big mistake today to change the system. But all he has done is to play the systems that everyone on here has been begging for. This suggests who the clueless idiots actually are
"How does he pick the squad up? Let Freund take training Lol" LB is the first serious fix. Good as Vert has been in attack there, the longer he remains there the more you see his frustration. Then CM. Eriksen out for a bit. Holtby is nowhere as a PL playmaker. Lamela still nowhere near it as the PL goes. Badly need the flank threat at WHL. Would go with Townsend on the left, Lennon on the right, with the OCCASIONAL swapping of sides just to keep the opposition guessing.
I'm confused. What was different (prior to Adebayor coming on), other than Lennon playing on his preferred side?
"I'm confused. What was different (prior to Adebayor coming on), other than Lennon playing on his preferred side?" Nothing really. Citeh just took the Spanners and Newcastle games to the extreme level (scary that their attacking threat can do that to play like an away game) .
Man City, with no English players in their starting team use width, beat their full backs and have two strikers in the box. Basically I agree. Width and stretching teams is still highly effective, especially at home.
