I hope he doesn't have an undiagnosed heart condition. Many sportsman die from such conditions, every year. Holes and faulty valves are the usual suspects. Throwing up after extreme exertion is a symptom.
We play well until the last 3rd and are then so predictable...we have spent £27m and £31m on 2 attacking players that have hardly played together and play them in a system that clwarly does not suit them. The person responsible for that is AVB. But I guess thats for a difderent day
Comedy own goal after another dubious clearance. Might be an idea to bring on Townsend down the left at half-time and push Lamela into the middle behind Soldado.
We're a shambles. I'm at the point now where I genuinely feel AVB has no idea what he's doing. He'll probably bring a sub on soon. A defensive one no doubt.
Well, that's the game over. All I hope is that Levy takes a good long and hard look at things, and comes to an early decision. We can't keep playing like this. We're not scoring goals, our attack is toothless and predictable, and AVB doesn't seem to know what's his best team. Okay, so I never expected us to have an easy ride against £ity, and it was always likely that we'd lose, but this is simply dire. AVB is turning us into a laughingstock.
This is what happens when a team only cares about defending...when you need goals you are ****ed...9 goals in 11 and a half matches? With lamela, defoe, soldado, lennon, eriksen, paulinio etc in the squad? Really poor from avb and the team.
We are going to have to be careful second half with tackles, whilst trying to score lots of goals. Not a great combo.
