Sunday 22nd December 4.30pm
Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Davies, Romero, Richarlison, Vicario, van de Ven, Moore and Odobert are still injured.
Udogie and Werner should be available, but Bentancur serves the last game of his suspension.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Forster; Spence, Dragusin, Gray, Udogie; Sarr, Bergvall; Kulusevski, Maddison, Son; Solanke.
Subs: Austin, Porro, Dorrington, Hardy, King, Olusesi, Johnson, Werner, Lankshear.
League form: LWDLLW.

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson; Jones, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai; Salah, Diaz, Gakpo.
Subs: Kelleher, Quansah, Endo, Morton, Nyoni, Elliot, Chiesa, Jota, Nunez.
League form: WWWWDD.

Ref: Sam Barrott. Strange selection. VAR: Paul ****ing Tierney.

TV: Sky Sports.

How would you like to line up for this one and how do you think we actually will line up?

Can't see anything other than a Liverpool win. They are unbeaten away from home all season, got to rest some players , we've loads of injuries and they have had a day extra rest and they ain't ****e.

1. When the opposition come to play, Spurs will score a few goals
(enough to win is another story) .

2. The Poool will be a good test (their defence has been good) .

3. With the League cup SF draw, there is also the psych factor
(can a Spurs win do a Citeh on them - more so given the native
"victim mentality" of yer average Mouser) .

our defence had been good but Konate out and TAA deciding he would rather play in MF than RB has led to us coughing up loads of chances recently

Forster, Spence, Dragusin, Gray, Udogie, Bissouma, Sarr, Maddison, Kulu, Solanke and Son - The best XI we can pick at the moment.

We have a terrible record against Liverpool home and away and see no reason for that to change today. Equally we are the most inconsistent team in the league which offers some hope, once again I am confident we will score, but so will they. Been a few red cards in this fixture too over the years and the mixture of an inexperienced ref with Tierney on VAR may see another one today!

I think we’ll score one or two today, but our usual naive, chaotic approach at the back will see us picked off, especially with all the injuries. High scoring one, IMO. 2-4.

This is the perfect game for Ange to switch tactics and stop the inverted full backs nonsense. We simply can’t leave gaps in our defence otherwise we’re going to concede a fair few.

I can see Liverpool getting joy behind Porro.

We are going to see a lot of tired legs due to not being able to rotate whereas Liverpool rested most of their regulars in their midweek game.

Still, I’m predicting a narrow win for us but wouldn’t be surprised if we lose big.

Looking at the Utd performance and the comments from Ange since have given me renewed hope that this team is very together and moving in an upward trajectory , albeit slowly . When we get our injured and suspended players back we will be stronger. The change in transfer language has changed and seems Ange may get reinforcements in the January window. We will give Pool a game, we may not win but they will know we came to play.
