Dominating at 2-0 and 2-1 down is nothing to brag about. It’s desperation on our part and Pool looking to conserve a lead. It’s why we’ve just lost the game.
Gave ourselves too much to do, Liverpool ****ing lucky and how the **** was Salah the player of the match - Bissouma was the best player on the pitch by a mile.
Another predictable result. The unwanted run continues. 3 defeats in 4 league games and the turgid style remains Might be a bonus of no club football for a month
I am talking about this game which bears no resemblance to the Marseille game. We started brightly here we were not slow and we were unlucky not to get a penalty. The rest we have discussed. Spurs were unlucky not to at least get a draw out this.
Pathetic really. The fact that some feel that was one of our better performances though is exactly part of the problem - when that’s considered ok/ decent, then we have serious issues. Manager keeps costing us with his tactics and selections, not sure how much longer we should persist with it.
No its not the only reason but it was an extremely important decision in the context of the match we were actually on top when that wasn't given and if we get it and score who knows we battered them in the 2nd half so much they finished the match hanging on with no forwards on the pitch. We weren't great but they were NO better.
It’s an easy comment because it’s been true throughout the season. We play well when losing because we become desperate.
I just hate losing against Liverpool! We had too many injuries but a simple mistake from Dier lost us the game. Def a penalty in the first half - that could have changed the game. Think Conte should have risked bringing on Gil at some point, rather than Moura who is injured.
Looking more and more like the final third of last season was a fluke (where the pressure and expectation of finishing top 4 was low) . I demand an Arry League cup 2010 starting XI for the game against Forest, and some serious sorting out in preparation for the Leeds game.
I think we said goodbye to any chances of # 1 or # 2. R.I.P. Spurs. Time to learn to grind out 1-0 wins like errr.........
