Of all the injustice in the game today Tsimikas annoyed me most at the end. Early ball to salah and we would be giving it large right now
I don't know what it was with the pitch, but we had a succession of under-hit passes throughout the first half. They weren't inaccurate, just had no legs. You'd think that players of this standard would figure it out pretty quickly and kick the bloody thing harder.
Yeah was one to Robbo for the Kane tackle. One into TAA from Matip that Ali then slide and intercepted. As you say just seemed underhit and players waited for for ball. Maybe grass was bit long or pitch but wet? Hard to tell
Ultimately a draw is not a disaster. Am not sure if City or Chelsea have to play there but Spurs will slowly get better for sure. Conte will get them organised and at some point, Kane will start banging them in. Take the point and move on.
Not when he made contact with the ball. Was a good yard or so inside. Just then kept sliding out. He had a proper mixed game. Some incredible saves but then the **** up with TAA first half. Then that one. Had some shaky moment outside the box
The way the ball behaved it looked like the grass was a bit long, I tried to see on some of the close-up shots - it didn't really look it, but hard to tell on a screen. Definitely something holding the ball up though, and I'm disappointed we didn't realise sooner.
Utterly incredible. If you're through and you steady yourself to chip the on-rushing goalie, then a defender runs into your back and knocks you over without going anywhere near the ball, then by this definition, it's not a foul/penalty? I'm just totally perplexed. Just wut???
Robbo red card... "Intentional swipe at a player" - ****off! Fair enough if you think it's a red card but he didn't go for the player. The ball was there, Robbo went for it (aggressively) but the Spurs players gets there first. No intent, just pure aggression.
That’s the thing. His legs are still moving when he gets barged into so no idea what they’re on about. But even if he does stop, that’s doesn’t means it’s free reign to barge someone over. Maybe that’s why Kane’s wasn’t a red card. Cos Robbo was stood still so doesn’t count. But then again Spurs player was standing still when Robbo kicked him so
I can see why he was sent off. Looks aggressive. But it’s one of those where ball is there and just goes to smash the ball but spurs defender puts his foot there. I still say that it was leg on leg, wasn’t dangerous but fine what ever. The fact it was more punishment than a leg breaking tackle though. Can you blame Robbo? When he nearly gets his leg snapped in half and it’s only s yellow, can’t blame him for thinking he’s allowed to do that and get away with it.
Dermot Gallager trying to make a case for Kane on the international feed saying Robertson helped Kane by jumping so he can see why a yellow was given. Madness
