What happened on the cross into the area when Lucas got knocked off his stride by the fullback? Not clear cut but it's not allowed is it?
There's hope through that avenue then at least Son is inconsistent...let's hope he pulls a rabbit out of the hat for us
I'll take that at the break, I have watched a different game to the broadcaster. A reasonably even half they scored a good goal, but created very little else. We have gained some control as the game progressed, changes will be important, Son needed quite soon maybe for Eriksen who has really not been at the races (how many times have we said recently). Kane and Moura doing ok when receiving the ball, but we need a bit more thrust in the final third.
The positives are that we’re still in it, Allison looks flaky, we can occasionally catch them in possession and when we got the ball forward on occasion, we looked at least half dangerous. The negatives are that for the first 20/25 our midfield was pretty much non-existent, and their FBs and front 3 were fixing our defence and then tearing them up. We stabilised a bit by the end of the half but I’d like to see Sonny on, Eriksen isn’t at the races at all. That or keep the Dane involved and go to a back 4 without Sanchez. We’re a long way from being out of this game.
Why is it a mistake? Lucas has been ****....taking pot shots when the better ball is on. Kane isn't being allowed to get into the game due to the lack of service
Never gonna get that one, to be honest. Robertson ran into Moura, but neither was that close to the ball and he wasn't very forceful. Would've been a lot riskier if they weren't at home.
