  1. That was half the problem. Fans took out their frustration with the team as a whole on one or two players - and crucified Pratt. It says a lot for the guy that he kept working as hard as he did. The abuse he got was well out of order.

    I never understand abusing your own players.
    If they're not good enough, then it's hardly their fault. If their attitude sucks, then they shouldn't be playing.
    Both of those are down to the manager, who selects the team.

    If trying meant anything Pratt could be picked for Great Britain....but he was sadly lacking..but not quite as bad as that Brazilian left back we had a few seasons ago!

    I remember Hoddle being dropped for Pratt. It caused quite a stink as I recall.
