Teams always seem to change their managers right before they play us. The interesting point here is that while we ought to worry about the new manager bounce, Rodgers probably did better against us than anyone else, all things considered. So the timing of his removal is interesting. However that may be, it's been a series of good performances by Liverpool and/or bad ones by us that we'll desperately want to change. Liverpool's players will do everything they can to earn a place under a manager who wants his teams to outwork their opponents. The safest prediction is a lot of running.

Its all set up for Liverpool really. If they win its all gravy, and if they lose then Klopp needs time, and they've a lot of players missing. Wonder how much mention there will be of the players we're missing today.

No surprises in our lineup. Dembele for Dier, as expected.

Rose starting is a bit of a surprise. Not a massive one, but I doubt many people would've predicted it, despite some people wanting that change.

Liverpool are using a revolutionary 6-5 formation, apparently:

My guess would be that they've matched up and gone 4-2-3-1 with Origi as the lone striker.
Wonder what's wrong with Sturridge now? Hope it's not serious.

  7. Playing a vastly less secure LB in a game against 'Pool when they are likely to be playing at the top of their game to impress seems a strange decision. And Davies has done well enough in a very resolute defence over the last few games..... we'll soon see if it was a good decision.....

Think Rose gives us more going forward than Davies and that will be important today

Team looks a bit lightweight through the middle. Needs an iron man in front the defence for this game.
We're in danger of being over-run through the middle, unless Poch spots his error.

BT...Here's the spurs team, for liverpool the injuries are building up...
WTF? So Son, Bentaleb and Mason being injured and Dier being suspended are not important then?

Liverpool have looked so comfortable. ..they are dominating midfield, pressurising us at the back in to making mistakes and we have not had an attempt on goal or hardly been in their half.
    Really poor from us
