I mean Lo Celso has featured in all our games since the turn of the year... Knee injury picked up on international duty in November, plus a knock in training when he was coming back from that, putting him out until mid to late December
He was injured playing for Argentina and was out until the Watford game. Now they've called him up, again.
I really miss going to Spurs...its a huge part of my staying sane (my version of sane anyway...but can not face the crowds atm...and money is getting very tight but here really helps me feel like I am part of being there. The discussions, jokes and celebrations like tonight are fantastic...cheers to all of you...
Rodgers post match interview is a thing of beauty... "We managed the game well" WTF...Apart from the 27 attempts we had you numpty "We scored great goals" ...a pass deflected by a spurs player to the scorer for the first and a deflected effort for the second...hardly goal of the season stuffis is it Brenda? "We deserved more..." I repeat...27 attempts conceded ... No ... no you really didn't you bitter little man Evert time he opens his mouth I am reminded how glad I am that he ain't our manager
I think he’s a good coach but a complete prat. Always gives the impression that he’s just read a book about how to manage a football team, which is probably a little bit unfair. But I get big management consultant vibes. The 21-year old types who have just graduated.
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte speaking to BT Sport: " A great win. I honestly think we didn't deserve to lose the game. A draw was for me unfair. "I think we played a good game, created many chances to score and were unlucky. But my team showed they don't want to give up and until the end we have to fight. "We showed great desire not to lose this game. This is a compliment for my players and team, not for me." On match-winner Steven Bergwijn: "I spoke about Steve in the past. For me he is an important player with a special type of characteristics. No-one else in the team has these characteristics. "He is good technically, he beats the man, he is a striker and in good physical condition. It is an important choice for me - I can make him in the starting XI or bring him on in the game." On what Tottenham need to improve: "We have to learn to control the game and understand the different moments of the game. "Under this aspect we can improve. There are different key moments during the game and we have too understand these better. How to play with more velocity and move the ball quickly or keep the ball and lower the intensity. We can improve and have to improve a lot but it's a long path. We have just started with these players and this team. "They show me great ability and desire to improve. I know we have a lot of space for improvement."
Yeah that’s easily done to be fair. He’s played in the last 5 or 6 to build his fitness up for the upcoming internationals for Argentina.
