please log in to view this image Wednesday 19th January 7.30pm Premier League King Power Stadium I'm still not convinced that this match is going ahead, so I'm going to half-arse the thread, frankly. No idea what either squad is going to look like if it does get played, so I'm skipping all of that. And I'm leaving this from the last time I posted it. Lineups for each side's last league game: Spurs: Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Royal, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Moura, Kane, Son. Subs: Gollini, Doherty, Rodon, Tanganga, Winks, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Alli, Gil. League form: WWDWDW. Leicester: Schmeichel; Castagne, Ndidi, Amartey, Thomas; Ndidi; Dewsbury-Hall, Soumare, Choudhury; Maddison; Iheanacho, Vardy. Subs: Ward, Daley-Campbell, Nelson, Vestergaard, Tielemans, Albrighton, McAteer, Lookman, Perez. League form: WDLWLW. Actually PPLWPP, but still. Ref: Jonathan "Rolling Stone Gathers No" Moss. VAR: Simon Hooper. TV: BT Sport 2. How would you like to line up for this one?
Am hoping they got their outrageous penalty decision on Sunday. Last season season's penalties against us were simply embarrassing but were completely ignored. Was fitting that they imploded in the last 10 minutes.
Spurs put up highlights from the 4-2 on social media and I'd forgotten about the penalties they won in that game. The first one Toby was really stupid to leave a leg dangling but in slow motion you can see Vardy glance at the leg and adjust his feet mid stride and in mid air to ensure contact. It's an unnatural movement only perceptible in slow-mo Then the second one, the way in which he tangles his arm into Sanchez' and uses the defenders greater size and weight to roll himself to the floor, giving the impression he's been hauled down, was actually so impressive it deserved a standing ovation if not a penalty. Vardy has elevated penalty winning to an art form and in Maddison he has a promising apprentice.
Gonna go full rcl and state : No way Spurs are gonna win this game + Lesta not being awarded at least one penalty.
And yet he miraculously escapes criticism from the pundits. Single-handedly inflates Leicester's penalties to a Utd level through cheating and is blameless, apparently.
Sounds like Leicester also asked for the game to be postponed as they have 9 out including no fit CBs but Prem rejected their plea as well. Gonna be a crazy game, both teams will be massively depleted.
