Like DH, (and a very unpopular opinion amongst many Arsenal peers), I wouldn't have minded Europa Conference League so we can blood the younger/fringe players and give them that experience. But I didn't care for progressing far in a tournament that is essentially the Intertoto Cup rebranded otherwise. At least now we have a good reason to trim the fat from our squad and focus solely on the league without any distractions. Truthfully, I didn't expect Leicester to bottle it so monumentally after having taken the lead twice, but more fool me, as that's the 2nd year in a row they've done that.
I know Spurs won but the biggest joy was seeing Leicester's fan go quiet after their relentless singing and chanting!
Call it jealousy but I really don’t like Leicester and the media love in of them. Working so had to listen to talkSPORT and you should have heard how bitter they were when Bale scored to make it 3-2. Always nice to finish above Arsenal. Glad this season is over though.
We have not won away against any of the current top 4 since October. We had only won 4 of the previous 17 games against the current top 10 current all season. We hadn't beaten a current top 10 team since January the 1st. We haven't beaten a team above us (at the time we played) all season until today. Out of the top 12 teams we only got 20 points from the previous 23 matches. Since October we had only won 4 away games. Three were against the relegated sides and the 4th was against an injury ravished Villa side. So all in all Leicester must have been ****e to loss to dross like us

Commentators talking about how smart Vardy was for the pens then it was a faint touch for the foul on PEH , the hypocrisy is massive week in week out
after all we’ve seen this season, I never thought I’d witness a team more spursy than us. They were woeful. they were playing us (of all teams) at the end of the season in a crucial game. Couldn’t have asked for a better fixture!
Awaiting confirmation that the UEFA game ranking pts are the same as for the CL/EL ... but if they are, your ranking pts are going to take a big hit (CL pot 3 at best if you actually qualify for 2022-23) .
After there 2nd pen - I rather enjoyed that, they were **** but we actually took advantage of that for once and were deserved winners. Well done Harry thats another 2 trophies - isn't that enough for one season!!!!
On a different note… did anyone see the crowd at the Arsenal game? How come they got preferential treatment and were allowed a normal crowd?
11 goals in 20 league games for Bale. Only 6 less than Son. When you think Son played over 3,000 mins in the league too whilst Bale played just over 900 it’s mad what his goals to games/ goals to minutes ratio is. There is no way in hell this guy is “finished” as the media and some pundits would’ve had you believe at the start of the season. Get. Him. Back. Please.
