I've not seen this mentioned anywhere on here, but I do think what Pochettino did last night was a touch of class. De Laet was injured in the pre match warm up and after the squad list had been passed to the referee. Poch would have been well within his rights to insist Leicester had only 4 subs, but he very sportingly agreed they could have the full 5 and draft another player in. Not often I praise Poch, but on this occasion full marks to the man.
Not being funny, you'd have to be a right twat to deny us that after an injury. Fair play, but I thought Ranieri's decision to only play Ulloa up front was a far more generous gesture
Vorm's previous appearance was 10 days earlier. I think there's some significance in that, because previously he had gone over 6 weeks between playing in the opening game and then the Arsenal cup match, followed then by a 15 week gap before he played in the first Leicester cup game. It just highlights how much irregular playing time can affect some goalkeepers.
What do you think someone like Mourinho or Ferguson would have done? They'd have had you playing with 10 men from the start, if they could!

And in the Europa, that will depend on the boys doing so much damage in the first leg of each tie such that there is nominal risk in fielding him in the 2nd leg. A bit miffed that we didn't have a League Cup run until at least the QFs (as for the previous two seasons) , as that is also extra game time for the 2nd GK to get going in.
If I remember correctly I think Robspur (wherever he is these days) said that Kane would be the next Sheringham. I am sure it was him that said Teddy as he was very insistent and most thought it was a load of bollocks! So fair play to him and YV (NKNG)
Top man CJ Yeah, I did get lucky on that one. It was the next Lineker I said though <run> Edit : and although clearly there are many differences, maybe they wouldnt be so different if Gary was playing today. Boy's come good anyway
I also compared Kane to Sheringham, although Kane is more direct in many ways he clearly has a good football brain as he appears in all the right places.
