When Onomah is your last hope to get a result, you know you're seriously short of striking options. Chequebook time Levy!
Failed again to beat a well organised kick and rush outfit Sorry lads but we need a quick strong talented CF
1-0 FT. Enormous loss in a game that we dominated. ****ing appalling refereeing and we didn't take our chances. Bloody awful goal to concede, too. ****ing appalling.
From the 2 matches I've seen against Leicester I have to say I can't believe we haven't smashed them both times, I don't think I've seen a worse footballing team all season, there only tactic is to get it in the wide areas, win a cheap foul the hopefully head in the resulting set play. Absolutely shocking. I'm embarrassed we have lost to that. No sour grapes
Oh come on HIAG, one bad result is not a whole season. I see this as a wake up call to the people upstairs. Poch has done an amazing job taking these kids and moulding them into a class act for half a season but to expect them to go the distance on primarily a nucleus of 16-18 players is unrealistic. The team desperately needs cover for Kane and an experienced leader in midfield to pick us up in games like these.
This was that game..that game we always **** up, by hook or by crook, as was the case again. Not sure what the answer is. Was still a penalty on Sunday though.
Crikey Hard luck today but you have to take your chances if you want a Champions League spot. Goodnight
Well thats a ****ing hard one to take boys. Comedy defending to allow Huth that free header. Got a sense when Kane's effort hit the bar that it just might not be our night. Hopefully we take revenge by knocking Leicester out of the cup at their place.
Agreed, Poch is doing a great job. It's just so frustrating that every time we seem to get up a head of steam, we let ourselves down with a performance like that!
I personally see absolutely no difference but we won't be starting this debate again! There's a reason why you've had the lowest passing accuracy all season and I've seen evidence of it twice now in a week. But look, Ranieri has a clear plan, he sticks to it, he has the personnel to make it work - fair play to you. I've said all season if we have to miss out on top 4 this year I'd like it to be to yourselves so as to at least have a big middle finger up at the Sky 4. Not good enough today, I'm afraid. I don't know how many more times I need to say it, but Tommy just isn't what we need at this level. Eriksen has looked lost for about 2 months now, Walker and Davies were utterly cack - the former doing his best to re-enact 'Kyle Walker's best blooper reel' of 2013. When you have 4 players who are basically passengers, you're going to struggle. Fortunately for us, City, Arsenal and United all dropped points too. And is there any way Lee Mason can be met with an unfortunate accident involving a large vat of acid before he refs for us again? Inept from start to finish.
