I think this is our most difficult home match of the season so far and I can see the game being very similar to Sundays and we used our get of Jail Free Card on sunday so we must a play a better match tonight.

Having Lloris, Walker, Davies and Vertonghen back should strengthen us significantly at the back and I think Son should start again and if Dembele is not deemed fit enough I would recall Bentaleb who did well when he came on.So my starting line up would be Lloris, Walker, Davies, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Dier, Bentaleb, Alli, Son, Lamela and Kane. We need to play with a very high tempo and get in amongst them if we are going to win this one. I cant see there being more than 1 goal in it and my heart says we will just squeeze home, but I head says draw

You wouldn't play Rose? Interesting. Thought he was your best player on Sunday. By a fair distance too. Unless you're think of the more defensive Davies to mark the mercurial Mahrez?

Davies is definitely better defensively and whilst I wasn't particularly thinking of Mahrez now you mention it that is a consideration, I just think that as a pair of full backs Walker and Rose are too similar, Walker and Davies offer better balance for me.

Definitely. The thought of Rose up against Mahrez just made me wee a little.

I don't think Modric became world class because of any particular DM partnership. He is strong, fantastic in possession and most importantly always looked to turn and move play forward. All in his own right. Dembele has similar attributes, Carroll does not (in my opinion). We've maintained good form with him in the starting 11 but I agree, as other options come back from injury his oportunities will likely diminish.

Vardy and Okazaki up front. Suddenly I'm nervous. Eriksen needs to have a big, big game.

I have to say, that Leicester bench is very, very solid. Credit to them for building up a decent depth in a very short period of time <applause>

Any complaints here about Spurs tonight, and I am going to be replying in
a sit-back counter-attacking style (although some may say I am being very attacking) .

Carroll's first misplaced pass. Good strong running from Eriksen.

Decent, dynamic run by Eriksen. Not likely to score from there with his left, though.

I'm still waiting for somebody to equate Tom Carroll sounding like a field mouse when introducing himself to the camera to him not posessing the physicality to succeed in the Premier League.

Come on, internet, I've seen more far-fetched examples of NARRATIVE from you!

Bright start, but we need to take advantage of it.
