True but it's shame that all our skill counted for nothing in the end. A bit like Barca lost to Celtic, in football there are no points for style. Having said that, I am a Spurs fan so I am not advocating it. Nice one Bale
It's where Neville should be coming in at the end of the game saying Bale shouldn't have played on and instead taken the broken leg with a red card for the Leeds player. It's a definite red in the Premier League but this wasn't the Premier League and it went unpunished, if I remember rightly. The ref was pretty crap all game though, he let that fullback throw himself to the floor everytime Bale touched him whilst barges on our players went unpunished. Not sure how Brown got away with kneeing Parker in the back either. The result was all our players' fault though and in fairness the ref rather bizarrely blew the whistle when they were just about to get a 3rd.
You can see why Southern fans want to become pothunters and support Manchester United after our performances sometimes! One thing.Can't we please break the bank and go for a proven goalscorer wherever the hell he is!? Two thing. Surely we can't let little Norwich beat up on us again.......can we???? Pissed off? You bet I am. I feel so sorry for our fans who went to Leeds expecting the best from our players.I've been there over the years following Spurs and felt lie I've been kicked in the stomach after some of our displays.But we never learn do we?We just get up,wipe ourselves down and expect a great display the next match.........!
