I don’t think their is much between Gazza and Hart, however I think we need Hart for the other things he brings...that’s where we are as a squad...we need the right voices to help our strongest XI get over the line

Gazza wasn’t all that when he had an extended run between the sticks.

Hart flopped at Torino, West Ham and Burnley. I’d take Gazzaniga over him if Hugo gets injured any day of the week.

Nice guy and good experience but he’s been a poor keeper for the last 4 years.

Gazza was definitely better suited to Poch's system, though it has to be said he's more vocal than Hugo and his distribution is less anxiety-inducing

The obvious question that needs to be asked is whether Hart is suited to our current system, because while he's also more vocal than Hugo (and, you know, is more HG than either...) he seems to react a fraction of a second slower than Hugo or Gazza do

We ain't beating Antwerp playing our squad players. As that game is sandwiched between 2 critical PL games, that's what we've got to do.

It's very disappointing to see how poor a number of players currently are and how shockingly incapable of keeping the ball we have become.

Losing Dembele and Eriksen within 12 months of each other ****ed us there I think.

Dembele controlled the whole midfield - and for 90 minutes too up until the end - where as Eriksen was unrivalled for outright creativity in the league and that alone allowed us to generally be the team that'd dominate possession.

Right now Ndombele is like Dembele-lite but with a bit more of a creative edge although once he reaches 60 minutes he's generally done for. Lo Celso isn't as creative as Eriksen but he has a way of getting the ball moving nicely and is a better runner with the ball, though the fact he's made of glass means he can never get a proper rhythm going.

I like both players but they've so far been nowhere near worth the £90m or so we spent on them in the summer of 2019.

To keep stacking up the good news from last night's display, it sounds like Lloris may be out of the NLD so we get another game of Hart <rofl>

We need Lloris

I think it’s a Jose Jedi mind trick

hope so anyway

im a bit nervy...nervier than I should be
