If this isn't just a **** Inter side....... Then that was one of the best 45 mins of Spurs football I can remember. Almost too easy at times, but this side looks so comfortable on the ball - all of them - they are a joy to watch. Everyone looking good this evening, but Parker and Sigs are my outstanding two so far. Not sure about officials. Arguably correct re: bale card but also clear that we are unlikely to get anything much. COYS!! Edit: big statement I know, and probably should be tempered somewhat, but we are brilliant tonight
Liverpool are very capable of playing poorly too I take your point and agree though. Even though Inter aren't what they were a few years ago, this must have been a very poor first half for them.
I'm not saying it won't be a tough game but we should think we can win there the way we are playing and with the confidence we have. I think Liverpool away is as tough a fixture as there is right now.
Really good first half performance, bar the odd bit of slightly switched off defending and Bale's silly dive. I'll be very happy if we just keep a clean sheet in the 2nd half, but we look to have enough in us to kill the tie off completely. A good start is essential when the teams come back out.
Course we can win and i expect us to get a result but mousers arent mugs, even if we want them to be!
He picked 2-1 to Arsenal and gave no good reason for it so I can't see him picking Liverpool to draw at home

Colin - I was actually with a mate who was a City fan and at half time we were in the bar and he was thinking about going home he was so gutted. I think he may have done and we were a bit slow getting served so we were still in the bar and the second half had kicked off and suddenly there was a small cheer and City had scored. The rest as they say is history but its without doubt the most demoralising game I have ever been to!
