Edit: Having seen the replays you can understand it, he's definitely looking for it but not many refs book for that, apart from when it's Bale of course.

He got it spot on, bale ran past him, kicked out his leg to make sure there was a bit of contact and dived.

 

No problem with the booking, my problem was with the free kick that should have been 25 yards out.
