Mate of mine had his first and only child aged 58. The marriage was over within 3 years. There wasn't room for another child in the house! Some blokes aren't meant to be grown ups, most of us just take time to get there.

Durham followed that up with this:

"You're going to have a nightmare week and won't sleep!" - November 23rd.
"Everyone expected you to win against the unbeaten team." - November 26th.

Twat trying to make people angry, so that they phone in.

I can't imagine how rich I'd have to be to phone that station. If I was a trillionaire, I'd object to every penny it would cost.

I'd just buy an autodialler, set it so it phones talkBALLS at five minute intervals during Durham's show, and blast him with some Strapping Young Lad

I had my first and only child at 57. Mrs audrey and I are still happily together. Thank heavens for human diversity!

A friend of mine was so depressed on his 29th birthday that he went out and bought a book called "Approaching Middle Age"!
It's better just to shrug your shoulders and get on with it.

Every day you wake up, you're younger than you will be throughout the rest of your life. Sure I'm fatter, balder, slower and less beautiful than I used to be...so what?

I can't think of a better time to have lived, I missed the war and rationing that my parents saw and the mess we're going to make of the planet in the years ahead that my kids and grandchildren will have to deal with...

Don't worry about the planet, it will win. The human race has doubled since 1971, 3.5 billion to 7 billion, a natural adjustment is about to occur.

They may. Evolution revolves around the climate. You and I probably won't get to see them though. Shame. Tyransaurus Rex would make a decent replacement for Eric Dier

Be right back, I'm off to set up a campaign that pressurises talkBALLS by having people boycot their sponsors

I'm thinking of calling it Stop Funding Twat

There's still fun to be had...it just hurts more and takes longer to get over.

Nope. I often find myself fitting lyrics into other situations. It's possibly because I remember lyrics from the 60s and 70s - it's last week I can't remember.

Edit: I wrote this as a kind of jokey reply before later trying to remember something that happened last week. The footie was actually the only thing I can remember!

I'll have to go along with what he said. Now if we had converted ALL the easy chances then it would have been something special but to only score 3 out of all of them tells me there's still some improving to do.

So to sum up, we are creating chances against top teams and we were unlucky not to win 3-0 last night, Winksy and Verts going close so as we are creating chances against top teams and not banging in as many as we should when we play the lower teams the same amount of chances will be made and WILL be banged in. Our goal difference is going to become remarkably wider.

There is more fun to be had, but it fekking hurts buckets more, and you are unlikely to get over it, fortunately, you forget it.
I can't remember the last time l'arse beat Tottenham, best it stays like that.
