TalkShite were taking the piss out of Poch this morning because he came up with some cow and train analogy that seemed a bit strange. They made a point of playing the clip several times and asking people what they thought he meant. Nobody knew. Now it may well be gobbledygook but how the **** are we supposed to know if we aren't told what question he was answering at the time? Maybe if we had some context we could either work out what he meant or decide for sure it doesn't made sense, but that wouldn't be good radio would it?

I don’t particularly wanna see Eriksen in the XI either but I just have no faith in Winks to actually do anything. Can’t stand the constant side to side style of his. Despite being utter turd in recent matches, Eriksen will hopefully at least try and get the ball rolling. Maybe Dembele can feature in the second half with a Fulham-esque performance if we need him.

Generally though our CM just isn’t providing much me with much confidence at the moment, regardless of who plays.

If only we had Super Jacky Grealish <whistle>

His pre-match stuff was not great IMHO.

He has left Toby and Trippier behind for "technical" reasons,
but no clarity on what that means. IMHO there is squad
fatigue, but he has claimed otherwise so that is that.

POST-match is the time (if he CHOOSES) to explain the
decision making. The hacks are not his employer.

He's probably deflecting from questions about 2 poor performances, HK, no signings, WC fatigue, Hugo's night out, playing at Milton Keynes, Toby Alderweireld and Trippier being left at home, etc. He hates the press and really isn't very good with them. In turn, they give him a hard time because he won't normally give them good copy. However, he's all over the back pages today.

We need a performance or two and some results and it all goes away. If we get gubbed again, it'll make things slightly worse but not by that much. The club could do with some positive news which is probably why the couple getting engaged were allowed access to the stadium. Something more football related would be nice about now.

I want to see a return to the system that's worked well for us and a few tired legs rested.
Vorm; Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies; Wanyama, Winks; Moura, Eriksen, Son; Kane.

After 2 decidedly lacklustre performances we really need to be on it from the start tonight and a few changes may actually help with that so I would pick the following
Gazzaniga, Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies, Wanyama, Dembele, Son, Lamela, Moura and Llorente.

A win tonight should shut the hacks up. It won’t of course, they will find something to explain how lucky we were or have a scoop that new stadium will not be ready until 2020.

Id play Eriksen..he might get more joy out of Inter..I assume he will get more time on the ball.

A good game tonight and the confidence can come back.

My problem is...we are not reacting well to defeats..where's the fire...we need that hunger tonight that was shockingly missing on Saturday when we should have been hell bent on not making it 2 losses out of 2.

    COYS!

Id bring Kane off the bench...think he needs something to think about and react to.

He went on to explain it himself, which they decided to leave out.
He was talking about experience being meaningless unless you're smart enough to learn from it and understand what it means.
It can be useful and you can learn and grow from it, but not if you're a moron.

Not sure why Moura is left out tonight - Our most in form player and the one who has played the least in the last 12 months! Thats a very good Inter side as well be happy with a draw right now

Would prefer a 30minbele tonight, but Winks currently cannot
be trusted in an MF starting XI for a game of this importance.

Wanyama obviously is still not 90 mins match ready, because Dier
has not been playing well enough IMHO for starting XI form.

Sub options in attack are also bare, but I suspect that trust has
been put in Son to run riot for the first N mins, then allow Moura to
do the same for the remainder (hopefully starting at some time
    well before 65-70 mins) .
