I think its the system I'm shocked at how the wing backs are so important to us for our attacking. They set the tempo, quite frankly we have been **** since Rose limped off against the Mackems.
Davies looks really unsuited to the winger role. That's where all our problems are, once again Rose has left a massive hole.
We're a mess. The entire team doesn't seem to know where they're meant to be playing and look as confused by the selection and line-up as we all did when it was announced. Dembele the only one with a bee in his bonnet, the rest just look like they'd rather not be in this tournament. If they'd shown passion and commitment in the league over the past month, I'd be more sympathetic. But as we've seen 3 back-to-back limp performances, I'm not.
The frustrating thing is that we've got other players with pace though, who aren't being used and could compensate in some way for the absence of Rose. Every team gets injuries to key players, but it's about adapting the team to suit who'd you do have available. We haven't done that.
