So...where to start? Has Dele done anything other than look cross? Is it seriously our plan A to have Lloris pass the ball to a marked player? Is Sissoko playing? Why are we not allowed to pass to Kane? Why are we not allowed to try and score? I blame Brexit
In my honest opinion our players and manager look lost when it comes to playing in European football. .. we had difficulties for a few years now.
Have we gone back to 2013-14? It's so similar to an AVB Europa performance from a few years back. Feels like the days of saying "square pegs in round holes" like sigurdsson & co, where we wondered where a goal would come from without bale providing the goods. There's no injection of pace in order to counter, or any link up play whatsoever. Changes needed at half time.
0-0 HT. Pathetic. Started slowly and got slower. Nobody anywhere near Kane, who had no service, yet no width and no protection for Davies. An unbalanced looking side on paper and it's turned out to be the same on grass. Need to come out quickly in the second half and I think we need a sub to do it. N'Koudou would sort out two issues, in my opinion, but he's not played well when used recently. Can't see Pochettino doing anything until the hour, anyway.
