Shame - except for those of us who predicted a 2-1 win :emoticon-0111-blush

Game over, scoreline flattered Fulham though, we should’ve smashed them by far more.

Gutted for Richy, fully deserved a goal today.

Agreed, we made it very hard for ourselves. Needed more concentration in front of goal and to manage the game better. But we got the job done and it’s 3 points at the end of the day.

    6-1 would've flattered Fulham tbh
3 points but those missed chances may come back and haunt at the end of the season.

Have to say I am really enjoying watching Richarlison. Great work rate and creative for others too. So deserved a goal today.

Made an utter < standard > meal of that win.
Putting such opposition to the sword will be
as much an issue this season as squad rotation.

On the plus side,IMHO such a starting XI will be
good enough for Lesta (while the strongest starting
XIs deal with Citeh and the CL) .

Richarlison or Bentancur MOTM for me, probably Richarlison just edges it.

Anything other than a win would have been a travesty. They were excellent today. Only slight disappointment is we didn’t win by more.

Its got to be good that we are all disappointed with a win that should have been more emphatic. On another day that could have been 5 - 1.

Spurs were excellent, Fulham were shameful and Stuart Attwell was dogshit.
Getting an outfield player booked for timewasting in the first half when it's 0-0 is pathetic, frankly.
He probably shouldn't have been the only one, either.

Nice to see Richarlison winning everyone over. Very unlucky not to score.
Great performance from Hojbjerg and it's a big positive to see him getting another goal.
Far better shift from Son and he was also unfortunate not to get one.
Quiet, assured debut from Lenglet. Looked calm and made some good forward passes.

Had a great first visit to the new stadium. Spent a fortune on the boys in the shop!

Very impressive stadium. Not so impressed with the food on offer…and the less said about the sausage rolls, the better!

The acoustics are fantastic. It gets really loud in there, especially with Fulham’s time wasting antics.

A very good match, should have scored more. Being at the stadium I missed so much on the pitch. I didn’t even see the second goal because I was watching the ref to see if he was stopping play for the handball in the box. But the experience of being in the crowd more than compensates for missing some action.

Had to leave on the 77th minute as my youngest had a migraine :headbang: But both the boys really enjoyed it and we’re definitely going to make an effort to return as soon as we can.

Nice to hear that you had a successful, enjoyable return to the Lane, TO.

I've seen quite a few parents putting hearing protection on their kids at the ground.
Maybe that'll help prevent any future migraines? Hope this doesn't sound condescending.
It's great that the ground can be really loud, but it can be a bit much for kids at times.

Something I meant to mention earlier was our bench.
Given that we're looking very light up top, why was Spence omitted?
Came on as a winger of sorts against Forest and looked lively. Did we need 3 centre-halves?

I appreciate the sentiments and don’t think you’re condescending at all. I think the migraine came on as he skipped lunch as he wasn’t impressed with the food on offer. We’re now know we need to eat outside of the stadium.

He was singing along during the first half and was having a riot :emoticon-0137-clapp It just got a bit too much for him. Popped into the chemist outside, got some calpol and headed back to the car. He was much better by the time he was sat in the car for 5 minutes.

All in, today cost me a shade under £700. Frigging heck. Have tried to get some tickets for future matches via spurs ticket office. All sold out or none with 3 seats together :headbang:

Having watched the highlights of the game this morning I have come to the conclusion that Richarlison has to sort out his tan lines if he is going to continue taking his shirt off

Night and day compared to the Scammers match, entirely because the back three are under no pressure so are able to both spread out and improve their passing options and, more importantly, reliably get the ball to the WBs - which in turn opens up passing options further up the pitch as well as allow the CBs to reliably recycle with the pivot

What also sticks out is Bentancur is taking up Kane's role of pinging the ball up to Son from deep, which in turn allows Kane to operate higher up the pitch and combine with Richarlison, and this certainly does look like a tactical tweak as I very much doubt we'd have similar combinations if Deki started on the right

Meanwhile, Fulham's map seems so to have broken Between The Posts

    Extended highlights and Conte cam:

There's a few clips from the match in the latter that aren't in the former, strangely.
