Wednesday 13th January 8.15pm
Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Having managed to avoid a couple of potentially embarrassing cup banana skins, we're back to the league.
This one's rearranged from two weeks ago, having been called off 3 hours prior to kick-off.
The victory over Leeds was emphatic and welcome, yet we're still not firing at 100%.
Our visitors aren't on great form themselves, but they've dramatically improved since the start of the season.
Can Mourinho resuscitate our campaign or will Parker have a happy return to see in the new year?

Last season was Scott Parker's first full one as Fulham manager and it was a mixed, but ultimately successful one.
They had a stumbling start before establishing themselves in the top six towards the end of November.
Things settled down a little after that and they never left the play-off places, either down or up.
A narrow two-legged victory over Cardiff took them to the final of said play-offs, where they faced Brentford.
The 3rd place side were heavily favoured, but a Joe Bryan brace in extra-time took Fulham up.

Their start to this season was even worse than the last, as they lost seven of the first nine games.
They looked dead and buried, but they've become a lot harder to beat since then, losing only once.
A win against Leicester was followed by that solitary defeat, which came at the Etihad.
They subsequently drew with Liverpool, Brighton, Newcastle and Southampton.
Defensive solidity has helped a lot, so they may have a chance if they can add goals.

There were no equivalent fixtures last season, so have some goals, instead:

Lo Celso and Lamela are still out. No news on anyone joining them, at the moment.
Fulham don't appear to have any absences. Neither team has any suspensions.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Doherty, Dier, Alderweireld, Davies; Hojbjerg, Winks; Bergwijn, Ndombele, Son; Kane.
Subs: Hart, Tanganga, Rodon, Reguilon, Fernandes, Sissoko, Alli, Moura, Vinicius.
League form: WDLLDW.

Fulham: Areola; Aina, Adarabloyo, Andersen; Reid, Anguissa, Reed, Loftus-Cheek, Robinson; Lookman, Cavaleiro.
Subs: Rodak, Odoi, Hector, Ream, Bryan, Cairney, Kebano, Kamara, Mitrovic.
League form: WLDDDD.

Ref: Paul Tierney. VAR: Craig Pawson.

TV: Amazon Prime.

How would you like to line up for this one and what would you change from the Marine game?
Would you stick with much of the same lineup, make a few changes or go for a wholesale switch?
Which system and tactics would you use and what are you expecting Fulham to go with?

The Pathetic are claiming this match might be postponed due to all the cases of traffic accident at this time of year...
They're not the only ones. There are a lot of different people saying that it could be off because Fulham have lots of COVID cases, including the BBC.

The way things are going they will suspend the league for 2 to 3 weeks , nearly 100'000 new cases in 2 days

Will we be upset if this game gets suspended?

Is it easier to play Fulham now ( they will be weaker- hit with the virus ) but then we are also weaker without key players?

However the rest might be good for us. And the transfer window opens at the weekend and we could strengthen the squad.

I don’t think this will go ahead. Surely only a matter of time before the season is suspended again

London derby, so in travel terms not so risky.

Given the fixture compression already this season,
and for Spurs in particular, I would rather that the squad
do not go into a lockdown with games in hand.

Everton vs Man City wasn’t a massive journey but it still got cancelled. I’m not sure how many positive tests Fulham have had but I just think the game will be postponed regardless of the future pile up in matches it will cause.

Not in miles but it was tier 2 to tier 3.

Don’t understand why teams must name 25 man squads

why?

If 10 are missing that still leaves enough to get a game on.

**** ****s running the game as usual

there is a squad limit...it’s 25

If 10 missing...that leaves a full team and 4 subs

?
You can do that for normal games, but if you've got 10 infected players then it's probably not worth risking infecting everyone else.

I thought once the 10 have been identified they would get isolated so the rest are ok

I just want to watch our game ffs
