Could you imagine Fergie though if they'd won it?

It's literally rock and a hard place

  2. I am certainly pleased, but only because it backs up everything I have been saying these past three season, that 'Pool are now a regular mid-table side, at best.

If their Yank owner knows what's best, "King" Kenny will be shown the door later today, and room will be made for a proper manager. But even if Kenny walks, I simply cannot see 'Pool doing anything for a decade. I said that three seasons ago, and I stand by what I said.

Agreed but let's hope not. Seeing Liverpool in mid-table mediocrity for years to come suits well with me quite frankly!

If anyone hasn't seen the goals fulop let in today make sure you catch the highlights later. It's like he is taking a bung or something! Can a premier league goalie really be that sh*t?the first and third goals particularly. F*cking useless

  6. Another season and we're still ahead - by the skin of our teeth it has to be said. Kieran Gibbs saved us at the end.

CL final is even bigger now for Spurs fans.

Going well clearly considering how happy the 'great, previously invincible' Arsenal are at finishing 1 point above measly, small club Tottenham.

It's not sour grapes and I have never said that arsenal didn't deserve to win the game. Anyone who sees the goals will see that they were terrible goalkeeping errors. You deserved to finish 3rd over the season.

My rage is at Hulk levels now:

    1729:
Harry Redknapp on Tottenham finishing fourth: "It has been a fantastic season to finish fourth and in a Champions League place. It's been a magnificent season.

"I'd be a liar if I stood here and said otherwise [that I didn't want Bayern Munich to beat Chelsea]. I want Tottenham to finish in the Champions League and it's now up to Bayern Munich to finish the job. What will be will be."

    1730:
It's up to Bayern Munich to finish the job for 'Arry then? Spurs should have sealed third on their own really shouldn't they?

    ----------------------------

I'm amazed Redknapp managed to say all that without referring to 2pts from 8 games or that we've 'been punching above our weight'

I await the transfer requests if Chelsea win the CL.

I can see it happening - Chelsea are now the single biggest threat to our long term future as a top side.

Jose Mourinho accusing another team of being defensive is up there with being called deluded by a Liverpool fan.

  15. He was awful. Still I'll take it.

  16. He is in a way correct though - you would have taken 4th at the start and he has delivered it. He cant control a situation where the 6th place club in the PL could well win the CL.

True he can't control the CL situation with Chelsea.

He was in full control though when we won just 2 out of 10 and we let a 10pt lead over you slip.

  18. He was also in full control when you had the best form in the whole league.

True. However, i don't believe in big conincidences, and this England bollocks and our rapid decline in form ARE entirely connected, IMO.

  20. Maybe but it's history now - and if you did collapse because of the England situation then your players are even weaker mentally than our players.

Its going to be a nervous week for Spurs fans...
