Whatever you saw, you now have an answer as to why Harry let VC go. You and PNP have repeatedly, heavily slated Harry for doing that and burdening Kyle Walker with extra games in your rotation rants....just shows you there's more to football, and you'll find KW was probably alright with that plan, because VC was in a real mess by the look of it, and really needed to sort his head out. Try thinking outside of the box once in a while you two is my advice, everything is not always what it seems. Hopefully you both feel rather stupid now to doubt the manager and the decisions he has to make, some for reasons we can't be told about at the time....thought you knew all about football! <whistle>

    Spot on, Notso.
    Consistently superb. <ok>

Yet no answer as to why he didn't bring in a replacement.

No time obviously PNP, Harry clearly gave him every chance here, but the final decision to completely change environment (Germany on loan) was very late in the window, but lets not dwell on that anymore. Just give the man a break <ok>

'morning guys. Big day has finally arrived, gonna be a loooooong day. This may sound absurd, but I remember from the haze of a dream last nite that Arsenal lost 2-0, we won 2-1 but I couldn't see the Toon result.

The pain in the ass could be we finish 4th and have to wait another poxy week to find out our fate.

    Mornin' Archie <ok>

massive day for many clubs. one this is for sure - it's going to be an amazing afternoon of entertainment

I'm really hopeful of us getting third. I think the home advantage will really benefit us today.

But in true tottenham hotspur style, we will not make anything easy for ourselves. We'll probably get a draw and it'll be enough to finish 4th, but like you say, we'll be waiting another week for the result in the CL final! ahhhh!

  7. Sorry if I wasn't clear... No, it was the idea that Livermore could have dropped in at LB.

We really do have to win today as a draw won't be good enough - if Newcastle win at Goodison Park today (which I think they will), then we'll end up in 5th place - no excuses from Harry this time, don't leave Defoe on the bench if there's 15 minutes to play and we're not winning - remember last week?!!!

    Morning/evening to all.
Less than 3 hours till kick off- got to admit feeling a little uneasy, suppose that comes from being a Spurs fan.
Whatever team Harry puts out we ought to go hard and fast at Fulham don't let them settle into a park the bus rhythm.
Oops almost forgot many thanks to 6061 for the match info during the season- long may he post!

Good day good day, it's finally here!

Must admit I'm looking forward to it all being over - the last 10 games have dragged!

I wouldn't like to say what'll happen with us today. I think all 3 finishing places have just as much chance attributed to them.

If I HAD to say, I think 4th will be our finishing position. Everton will be difficult for Newcastle and I can't see Arsenal dropping points against WBA (who will be missing Brunt).

They split up in December. We'd already played four months of the season by then, where Corluka played just three games.

Also, given we didn't have an understudy at right back when Corluka was loaned out - Naughton was at Norwich, Smith was at MK dons/Leeds, Byrne was at Bournemouth, it leads right back in to criticisms of Harry's failings at squad rotation and how badly bungled January was, as we ended January with one right back on our books with half the season still to play.

Tottenham: Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Kaboul, Bale, Lennon, Livermore, Sandro, Modric, Van der Vaart, Adebayor. Subs: Cudicini, Saha, Giovani, Defoe, Nelsen, Kane, Smith.

Fulham: Schwarzer, Kelly, Hughes, Hangeland, John Arne Riise, Diarra, Murphy, Dembele, Duff, Pogrebnyak, Frei. Subs: Stockdale, Kasami, Senderos, Gecov, Bjorn Helge Riise, Briggs, Trotta.

Looks like Redknapp's gone with the 4-2-3-1, which isn't a massive surprise.
Quite an attacking line up from Fulham.

hbic - just ****in shut up about it!...jeez, you're plain wrong about Corluka, just get over it, and I don't care about the rest of it, especially today, just open your eyes in future is all I'm saying, they're human beings not emotionless pawns on your playstation!

More importantly, a big blow for Fulham...no Dempsey! :)

And because they're human beings instead of pawns is why I keep saying having one right back for half the season, plus one left back for the entire season, is tactically and strategically inept.

Hoping we give a run-out to Harry Kane today - mainly because that would mean we're a couple of goals up in the last ten minutes and bossing the game.

We still have Danny Murphy and Steven Kelly to worry about, going by former Spurs' habits of invariably having a blinder against us...
