I'm hoping for Valencia. I'll be going out for that one, definitely.

Dortmund the stand out team to avoid, some very big clubs in there but I'd back us against any of them after tonight's performance. Sparta Prague and Olympiakos/Anderlecht the obvious nice ties and bogey team Basel still in <yikes>

Me too! Hope United fall on their sword in the next round. Maybe Valencia can see them off. Who do you guys want? Which teams fans would welcome you . You would have far fewer problems facing either United or Liverpool than say Fenerbache or Lazio with their right-wing anti semetic following. Where is Ajax when you could do with playing them at this stage?

I would love United in the next round. We would utterly, utterly destroy them. The BBC would go into a full meltdown.

Achaempong kills the tie for Anderlecht. 2-1 on the night, 3-1 on aggregate and that's that.
They gave us two really tough games in the group.

Are they? I thought the stand out team in the EL were Sevilla as this trophy has been resident in the city four times in the past six seasons. I think you would enjoy a trip to Dotmund, whereas Sevilla could be very hostile towards Spurs fans as I think they have an ultra element.

We owe Basel and I would quite like the opportunity to put that right, would rather avoid a trip to Germany or Ukraine, and NW England personally.

Gary Neville's 10-0 aggregate winning Valencia to get Man Utd. The press would love it.
Klopp v Dortmund would also be popular.
I'd like Sparta Prague, I think.

I like those draws, the media frenzy around the other 2 games would be awful, but would allow us to continue on our merry way almost under the radar

    All over in Greece.
Our Europa League group opponents proving too much for Arsenal's Champions League group foes.

On the way home from the Lane. ...was a brilliant atmosphere tonight.
Was in shelf side...the singing between park lane and shelf went on for over 6 minutes at one point after the second goal ... if its like that for this match the atmosphere for the NLD will be electric!
Very good team display tonight but need to single out Mason...quality all night!

They picked two teams on a similar level. Seems fair.

If we drew either of them I'd imagine we would only play a reserve team, so it would be less of a spectacle.

Good luck in the next round. I am the only Southampton fan who would like you to win the PL and EL. We hope to make you very happy at the weekend by beating that awful club from West London. CHAVS are so bad they must make the Gooners look loveable in your eyes.
