No, but apparently "woke" does. What does woke have to do with this situation, at all?

I said “woke era”, not specifically “woke”. Just that acceptable behaviour today, in this case, acting like a big girl’s blouse, differs from the past generation. We are talking specifically about exaggerating reactions to being fouled here.

Franny Lee was diving in the 60s. Gamesmanship and diving aren't new.

deffo red card. I went to rewatch that incident and my first thought is kane overreacts. Saying that, doucoure does catch him in the eye so maybe it did genuinely hurt as kanes one of the better professionals in our game. I wouldn't go as far as to say he poked him in the eye unlike dembele and i stills go to exaggerate doucoure pushing him off.

Anyway Dyche is a whinging nobber so **** him

Whilst we are discussing consistency, I am still waiting for the FA to confirm Doucoures 6 match ban.

BTW I didn't like Kanes reaction but Carragher says nothing if this was any Liverpool player, and every premier league (and many championship) teams do this now, it doesn't make it right but you have to ask the question why 5 days later is this still all over the media. Why were both managers asked about it again in press conferences about this weekends matches. Media agenda another reason for Harry to move on as he won't be under the same scrutiny at Man Utd because they have been doing this for years.

According to The FA Rulebook, he was supposed to say "By all means, shove your fingers in my eyes"

At least that's what Jamie Carragher thinks it says...

The message should be clear :

you aggressively stick your fingers anywhere near
the eyes of an opponent, you get a red and a long
    ban for it.

How the opponent reacts is irrelevant.

And if you don't like it, thank Clattenberg + the FA
(they set the precedent after the "battle of the Bridge" ) .
