Just bring on everyone who can attack. No point in having a defence if they play like that.

3-2 HT. Should've put the game away after the early goal, then threw it away with a massive collapse after Hojbjerg's mistake.
Now we're chasing the lead and they'll probably want to sit back and keep possession to run us into the ground.
Mourinho needs to get the subs right tonight.

I thought we were playing well and we are very unlucky to be behind. But you lot see the worst as usual.

We are actually playing quite well and would be winning except for two mistakes by Hojbjerg. He was also in his normal position for the second goal....a few yards away from being able to do something.

Strange half we were actually playing alright and created good chances, then switched off, I don't think its over and really don't think that there is much to choose between the teams, think both will score in the 2nd half and that it will be like the Alamo at the end but we will do everything but score.

    I don't want extra time!!

We were playing well, but then forgot how to defend. I dont blame Lloris, both shots shouldn't of happened.

    3 individual mistakes cost us.

Is it really the case that we make more of these mistakes than other teams, or are we just punished more for them because we panic?

I'm at a loss. I'd love someone to calculate how many of our GA are down to us shooting ourselves in the foot, and how many were actually the product of excellent football by the opposition.

I think it's just a poor call. Calvert-Lewin's never getting there and he's got full view of Hojbjerg.
If there is any contact, then it's extremely minimal. Need to see a better angle.

We made you lot look like the Brazil 1982 world Cup team for 30 minutes . Then suddenly we are 3-1 up. That was the most bonkers first half I've seen in years.

Our play in the middle and into the forward positions was quite silky but our inability to finish chances coupled with defensive brainfarts means we haven't scored as many as we should've whilst we've allowed a very "meh" Everton side so far to score 3 goals.

    Only Tottenham, lol.

I agree with you vim I think the criticism is way over the top, we are unlucky to be behind and have been the better team. No reason why we cannot still win this if we keep making the chances as we have in the first half. Two of Everton's goals were lucky and we have had several efforts saved.

Not unlucky to be behind when your players make silly mistakes like that (again)

In fairness mate...3 goals in 6 minutes is pretty <yikes>

Going forwards JM and the players have made a mug of my pre match fears...such a shame Lloris and Hoejberg have had brain farts that got punished.

Personally speaking, I think the mistakes at the back are unacceptable, however I would rather watch this than the dross of the Brighton and Chelsea games

Lloris has no excuse on that first goal. It's straight at him. How's he let that in?

There was a tweet the other day that said something along the lines of 62% (it was 60 something) of our goals conceded were because of Dier missing his marker or giving away a penalty.

I'd imagine another 30% is because of Alderweireld. The remaining between Sanchez and now Hojbjerg tonight.
