And the spurs go marching on! Good performance, more beautiful football and another 3 points in the bag. Finally we have played our game in hand!
Looks like they might Savic looks a liability and Balotelli showed their team spirit by storming down the tunnel after being subbed!
Great victory! From what I heard on TalkSport, Spurs were dominant from the 2nd minute to the 93rd, barring 1 contentious penalty decision. However, it sounds like its the same Spurs though; creating a lot but not converting enough. Thank goodness that Spurs have such quality in creating chances.
Spurs are just so ****ing good right now. Best I've ever seen them without a doubt. When are we going to properly thrash someone, though? We're so dominant in almost every game. God I love watching Spurs right now.
Just to add, great game for Dawson to get back into as well. Premier League game with lots of pace and speed, but not too much of a bother for him. Great way to pick up some good match fitness in time for Wolves (assuming he plays). Wolves will probably a lot tougher since they tend to be quite a physical side. Lets win the next game and then Spurs can go to the Etihad on the run of 4 wins in a row and no defeat in 9 games (in all competitions).
Not sure we ever really got out of first gear for long, to be honest, Lotak. The few times that we stepped it up, we created chances and pulled Everton all over the place. Can anyone see any contact for the Liverpool penalty, by the way? Stupid challenge, but I'm not convinced that he actually touches the player. Ridiculous decision on the Johnson tackle, too. If Kompany's is a red (and I think it was), then that's definitely one. FA Review, please. Gerrard talking about hypocrisy on the BBC. Tell us about those nasty, foreign divers again. Twat.
Dawson is a great player to have as part of a title-challenging squad. He's let us down very few times - we need players like him around. Sorry - I've only just really taken this is - we are EIGHT points clear of Chelsea in fourth. EIGHT! Jesus Christ we're good.
Oh hi Lidls! I can see you much better now that we're *ahem* 'shoulder to shoulder'! Really impressed with Jake today- I find that he has a better touch, vision and distribution than Sandro, although the Brazilian edges it in the awareness, reading of the game and tackling departments. 9 points clear of Le Librarians...methinks it's time for the "nice big plump cushion" graphic...
