Brentford last season: Johnson and Hojbjerg came on at half time, Johnson put us in the lead within minutes of the restart and Hojbjerg kicked them back into their own half
We should have won that. The away game will be tough, but if we don’t **** our pants, we can progress. Bodo could be on the cards for doing everyone else a favour too. COYS
Bodo and/or Glimt are formidable at home, plus the Norwegian season only started a couple of weeks ago so they have fresher legs
Tel is young but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect to see a bit more from a player with a £60m price tag... ...which I hope we don't pay in the summer.
Really don't get how Bayern were reluctant to include him in the Harry Kane deal, yet eighteen months later he winds up at us after barely playing this season
Ah yes my mistake, it was Matic who called him "the worse goalkeeper in United's history". And then Onana goes and does that
Thought Bentencur was pretty meh in the first half but very good in the second. Johnson got very little of the ball but should have hit the target near the end. Solanke worked hard but didn't create ... apart from his role in the goal similar could be said for Son. Thought Maddison was poor ... responsible for their goal and spent way too much time complaining to the ref rather than effecting play. Really good team performance especially in second half but we needed the two woodwork attempts to go in. No idea why we are giving Tel pitch time and the same goes for Richarlison. Thought Sarr and Spence did well when they came on. Finally I think we fully got behind the team, I was dreading a horrible atmosphere so was really pleased
Away in Germany will be a big ask. I’ve felt for ages that the last 8 is where Spurs hit their limit. Still got that feeling. Ange could be gone by this time next week.
