Yep, that is why ENIC, Lewis and Levy should fack off and hand it over to somebody prepared to spend what is required, instead of being afraid to compromise on profits and saddling our great club with Doherty, Sissoko etc.

If the players had been running the side they would probably have been better.

I totally agree that the buck stops with the manager but the players themselves are a joke that they can’t get themselves up for the two biggest games of the season.
I wish this season would end now there is nothing more to play for. I don’t even want to end up in the europa league next season as we aren’t even good enough for that!

maybe the attitude is a direct result of the fact they don’t want to play for him.
I don’t remember our players ever being this bad. I don’t think many of them have been trying for months and months. Perhaps they just can’t buy into the style?

Then they're unprofessional ****ers. I don't care if they don't like it, they're being paid millions. Turn up and give 100% on the pitch.
Don't want to play for the manager? Put in the effort now and ask for a transfer in the next window. Don't down tools and embarrass yourself.

    Mourinho should go. No doubt.
But after his response, the players should either publicly apologise or break ranks and open up on what's going wrong at the top in our club.
The lack of professionalism in that performance was beyond the pale.

He’s saying the right things here but he’s been saying the right things for a while now, and aside from a few good games in the run-up to the NLD, nothing has changed on the pitch.

I get that there are problems with the squad but Jose himself is not doing his job at the level we need him to be. Realistically it’s time for a change at the end of this season.

I dont think we have got the players to be successful...success is winning trophies after all. They failed under Poch too.

This is not me saying Jose is not to blame but he’s the easiest thing to change but that does not mean the players and ENIC/Levy are not playing a role in failing to get us to that next level which is to be winning trophies.

The footballing philosophy will no doubt be easier on the eye but a fair amount of these players will forever **** their pants when sleeves need to be rolled up. The collective squad bar the new additions hit their peak in 2017 and we should have injected some new quality into it but Levy lost his wallet.

I have backed Jose because I am willing to back anything to try to get us winning things and if he gets sacked so be it but the new man won’t be winning much unless properly backed because the players are still average....no one is turning the likes of Sissoko, winks, Davies into important cogs in a trophy winning team so they are surplus to what I think we should be aiming for. If we aim to succeed in Europe and domestically we need quality in depth and that requires ENIC to put in what they want out of Spurs.

It's what happens when regimes are done and the respect has gone.

Mourinho's been on borrowed time for a while. If he was any other manager, Levy would have sacked him ages ago.

It's time for the rebuild that Poch said we needed...under a manager who can take the club forward again...and if we could remove Levy from football decisions, please?

I’ve got no one in mind that I believe will lead us to glory, maybe lose in style if that’s enough for some but no one who can take us to the promised land so I’m not too bothered about wether Jose goes or stays which I suppose is a lot more ‘out’ than I was a few weeks back

It isn't a single person, it's a long term project. Pochettino did a lot better than anyone expected. Jose has done worse than he should have.

I'm not expecting a permanent appointment before this summer, but he has to go NOW...tonight if possible.

We could just possibly (maybe?) win the Carabao Cup if we get the right person in as a caretaker. If he stays, it will just get uglier and uglier and he ain't worth that.

Levy's front and centre in this. He wanted the 'Formerly Special One', long after his sell by date...and he should pay by having to resign or give up football responsibilities. That's how strongly I feel about this car crash, because he's raised this club out of Sugar's mire and put us back at the top table....but this episode is unforgivable.

what’s the aim of this next project?

There was supposed to be trophies at the end of the Poch project because that’s the next level for us but we failed because I believe the squad didn’t get the new injection of quality players it was in need of to help us cross so many last hurdles...that was our moment so it would have gone to plan under Poch but instead everyone burnt out and now we have to do this again because it’s the same ENIC backing us.

For me that is the best way to predict the future, to look at the past. Last time we had no money because of a stadium build and next time we won’t have any serious money to spend due to the COVID backlash. ENIC needs to put their hands in their pockets or sell up to someone with football ambition.

The project is to make the club one of the top two or three earners in Europe. The ffp rules prevent the owners injecting sufficient money to make a difference. It doesn't make sense to want the owners to have football ambition when the only rational thing any owner can do is more of the same. Success isn't guaranteed because there are at least ten other clubs trying to do the same.
