Walker breaks well, has 3 ahead of him but they're all statues..... no options other than to slow up.
Not only does it sound real silent crowd wise, this commentator is putting me to sleep. Thank goodness for that Alli goal!
I kinda get why Poch has fielded a strong team. We need a run of wins. Regardless of competition. If this team can't win this match, a b-team wouldn't.
Really slow tracking back on that chance. Our defence was all over the place. Dier's not having a good game, but I think we need him in the holding role at Wembley. There's too much space between our centre-halves and the rest of the team, at times.
Son has to do something, there. If the shot's not on, then pass it. Dwelling on it's not going to work.
3-0 to Porto over Leicester. They won't care about losing, but could do without a drubbing. That's what happens in the Champions League if you rest players though, I guess. 2-1 HT. No more than we deserve, but we've wasted a lot of chances. Need to keep up the decent football and avoid giving away such easy opportunities. Winks is having a good game, but he's less defensively minded than Dembele.
The CL performances have generally been sloppy at best, unprofessional at worst. I suspect Pochettino has put a strong side out so that the game would be done and dusted, and subs can be made early (so much for that eh) .
As much as I want us to win tonight, I'd rather us avoid the UEFA Cup and just focus on domestic competitions. After tonight's starting line up, I fear Poch will field strong sides in Europe risking injuries. So is a win tonight such a good thing?
Hopefully we can come out of the blocks in the second half and bag another couple. Then get the key players off the pitch and rested for Sunday. Nice that Sunday's opposition have a midweek Europa game too!
