This is a very, very cool thing...if you like looking at pictures of yourself or lots of other 50+ blokes...

    https://fanpic.co/spurs//index.php?x=111.743

...I don't mind photographs of me, as long as they're from when I'm under 40 years of age.

    Since then?

    Not so much.

I was clearly pissed off at the goalkeeper timewasting, judging by the look on my face. I won't inflict it on anyone.

    <laugh> I get you. I wouldn't be forthcoming either.

However, I've been posting a selection of gig videos on the Music Forum featuring the back of my head. It gives me a chance to keep an eye on the bald spot and I'm best viewed from that angle these days.

    Coming attractions:

Brian's bald spot watches The Undertones - 2 May

Brian's bald spot watches The Damned - Mid-June (London gig yet to be announced)

Brian's bald spot watches Rebellion Festival 3 Aug - 6 Aug

From the Fiver column in the Guardian:

"The Fiver doesn’t understand all the fuss about Tottenham’s new megabowl. Yes, one of the stands at the stadium that must not be referred to as White Hart Lane 2 is the most spectacular thing to be seen in north London since Tactics Tim’s gilet. But haven’t the architects mistakenly left out a few crucial features?

For starters, how come the people in the front rows are so close to the pitch?

Isn’t their view of the game a bit too good?

    Where’s the running track?

Why aren’t there huge gaps between the tiers?

Why can’t you see all the scaffolding?

How come the stewards know what they’re doing?

Why weren’t there away fans in the home end?

    Why was there an atmosphere?

So many questions; enough to leave you feeling that they’ve gone and made a right mess of building a shiny new stadium. And to think they only had to look a few miles east to see how it should be done. Oh Tottenham!"

Why not "New White Hart Lane?" As in New Scotland Yard.

    Sorry, Smithy.

New Scotland Yard's been sold and knocked down already. We're on New New Scotland Yard now.

Karrrrren Brrrady's employer, The Scum, has an article on the 20 Premier League stadiums, having asked their various reporters for ratings.
Ours wins, of course, with an overall score of 9.33 out of 10. The Stratford Running Track is last with 4.92. :emoticon-0136-giggl
I wonder what it would've got if she didn't work for them?

I’m obscured by one of the players. You can see the person next to me.

4 pints per person on average? Sounds a bit excessive....

That's not excessive. It is a good start to an evening, though.

Yeah our Tap-inn bar ran out of Amstel after our second round. Had to switch to Heineken.

People would have got there early and probably hung around after too, if you’re at a venue for 4-5 hours then 1 pint an hour isn’t a lot

Very clever photography. They found a moment when the bloke in front of me wasn’t standing up!

I just don't drink at home now. Can't finish it.I only manage one when I take the wife to a restaurant......and this is someone who could consume umpteen pints at my pubs.
Perhaps when Spurs overcome the Double curse and win the league,I'll come out of retirement!!!!!?

Deli's, Sonny's and Kane' s salaries in profit. We can afford to pay Toby's required salary now.
