Looks like Lawro was right about the new coach coming in. We couldn't beat Burnley and we are behind to the second bottom club, what did Poch say now?
We deserve to be losing to be honest...pissing away all our good luck and work in the past 6 or so league games...and losing to pardew twice ffs
Completely thrown this match away. Fair play to Palace though. I hate losing but to Palace it's more bearable
Neither Kane nor the Palace player should have had their penalties, but if theirs is a pen then ours is more so.
Chadli's tumble was more of a penalty than Ledley's dive. Clearly Stambouli got the ball and Ledley just threw himself to the ground
Pissed with that result. Palace were good (no doubt down to a healthy dose of 'new manager effect' as much as anything else) but a draw would have been fair, ref had his say in the end though. Consistency from the officials is all I ask for, as others have pointed out if their pen stood then we should have had one or two too, otherwise none of them should have been given. We were far from our best and need to improve ahead of the upcoming cup games, and more potential banana skins coming up in the League.
That’s five points in the last three games the officials have cost us. Well, no problem, they do that to Chelsea and Arsenal all the time as well. It’s also three results out of our last four the officials have got wrong, since Leicester should have had at least a point against us. Why bother? Award the places at the beginning of the year, since the refusal to use replay technology amounts to the same thing. I should also give credit to Palace, for pressing hard, and to their fans, who turned Taylor into their faithful puppy dog, looking for approval. Strange how completely he lost control of the match. Finally, we were flat and looked tired, unsurprisingly.
Cheers for the analysis - you should work for Sky with your Arsenal side - you'd fit in with Henry, Quinn and the others.
