When we are saying in the build up that Werner and Forster should not play it does make you wonder wtf Ange was thinking. Awful awful performance... up their with the dross produced by Jose, Nuno and Conte. There's not been a reaction since they scored which says everything.
It’s been like this for a while, bud. Only difference is that a lot of the fans who gave those three managers grief are holding back on Ange because I believe they like him as a man (which I do too) whereas Jose and Conte were very polarising figures to say the least.

Like I said earlier, when so many good players are underperforming, it has to be more of a system issue than a player one. I can’t buy that all of these players are suddenly bad or declining, just can’t.
We should have had Micky and Romero on the bench. If nothing else to give a focal point to put some balls into the box. They should be 2 or 3 up really

Bit of both I fear. The players aren’t as good as many of our fans make out but the manager is doing them no favours with his stupid rigid system which has been exposed since November last year. The win/loss ratio since then confirm that but the manager isn’t changing anything, if anything he’s doubling down on ‘angeball’

Nah I don’t even think it’s both. Son is brilliant, Maddison has been one of the best creative mids for a number of years in the league, Bentancur was incredible under Conte and there’s cases for others too. The system might be the worst system we’ve played post-Poch… and that’s damning considering how bad it was under Jose and Conte but at least with them they had Kane and Son (and Bentancur for Conte) playing well, no one is doing so in this.
