It’s unbelievably galling that we’re just ****ing ourselves with these errors. Chelsea look like they’re well drilled to manage a game and have plenty of individual quality but this isn’t a vintage team by any means. The Højbjerg break that led to the non-pen holds the key to us getting back into this, if indeed we are going to. We need runners off the forward line. As Gio and Winks are the only midfielders likely to play those balls, I’d be tempted to take off Højbjerg for Alli as at least he makes those runs and has had a decent record against Chelsea in the past. It’s clutching at straws but what else are we supposed to do. That or change system, **** off Doherty and go to a back 4 with Gil on the left.
